We have of late before saturday,we looked more solid at the back but it was only Blackpool and not Reading. We played Mark Wilson in the midfield on sat now Wellens is out for a month and he is more of a holding midfielder but we are still lightweight there with no real strong tacklers

What's your left back like? I pray for you that he's quick otherwise he's in for a torrid time!

Oh Bugger,TBH if it's still Roberts he isn't slow but he is really small and think he is struggling at times this season and would like too see Chambrers there who played right back on saturday, but we also have The titanic in the nets aka as Neil Sullivan whoi think has been poor

Neil Sullivan always seems to have a blinder when we play against him. Or maybe it just seems that way, I'm sure someone will correct me!

Idiots. If you want a pre match pint then go to the World Turned Upside Down on the Basingstoke Road. Other than that you will struggle anywhere else closer other than a pub over the J11 of the M4

Best place for you is the Holiday Inn. You can park there for a small fee and if the Callaghans bar is open you will be able to watch the Champions League on tv. !0 mins walk to the stadium and nearest to the away end.

When some of our less friendly members on here have stopped taking the p about you being able to get a drink at the ground, I'm pretty sure you can get a drink at the Holiday Inn Hotel (if you don't mind hotel prices and beer) on the Basingstoke Road. I don't think it is home supporters only. You can also pay to park there and it's pretty easy to get away afterwards.

Damn, big Percy beat me to it! He never used to be that quick when he was playing!!

BTW, the fee isn't that small, unless you're a professional footballer! I think it's somewhere between £8 & £10!

Whilst it's hardly the best pub in the world, the World Turned Upside Down on the Basingstoke Road MAP is quite handy, as you should be able to park there for free. It shares the car park with a hotel, and gets so much football business that it would be stupid for them to bother trying to stop fans parking there anyway. It has a couple of draft bitters, and is about 15-20 minutes walk from the ground up the Bennett Road. It's also a carvery, so you could probably get some tea, too.

donnievic Hoping to get there about half 4 tomorrow and looking forward to seeing a good team that like to pass it about like us.

Not sure what to expect from us really as before Saturday we have been really open at the back when we lose the ball.Played sum decent football for most part of the season so far without any luck and just can't take our chanceswhen we get them.We have been passing it around good until we get to the last 3rd of the pitch then are short of idea's but with out Wellens in midfield we don't look as good. Not expecting anything out of the game and just going to enjoy it as much as we can.

Anyone tell us the best place to park and get a drink would be grateful.

We will be in our red'n'white hooped or black shirts and bringing between 300 and 500 i would of thought.

Hello mate, welcome to hobnob.

I've got plenty of respect for Donny. Terrific football club and in many ways you're very similar to Reading in the way you've steadily built the club up.

I really hope you stay up!

It's a shame it's a mid-week trip for your fans. I exoect maybe 500 tomorrow? Nice supporters though!

Enjoy your trip, hope you enjoy the ground but not the result.

Yh we Donny fans will enjoy it it beats going to Leigh RMI on a tuesday night anyway ;)

We often perform against the sides doing well and the teams we are not expected to beat.

Not saying we will beat you as I dont expect it.

Im just hoping we do better than the Wednesday's did ;)

Agreed - I've got a real soft spot for Donny. In the 70s/ early 80s they were just like us - same sort of size, same sort of club, and we competed for a few promotions.

Then we diverged - we got a chairman who build the MadStad, Donny got a chairman who burnt down the main stand as an insurance job and tried to drive the club out of business! And I'm not joking or exageratting. Donny are an example of what might have been for us but for luck ...

It's been a long hard road for Donny supporters and it's great to see you back in business and doing so well - just don;t pull off any surprises tomorrow!

Hello,

I'd def recommend the holiday inn (come off junction 11 m4 and head towards the stadium) once off the junction which is a big roundabout go straight through the next roundabout and then turn right at the next one (you can see the stadium pretty clearly from here). Head down the road and the holiday inn is on the left. All fans are welcome in the pub and carpark, there is a takeaway over the road as well (not sure if it's still open though as keeps changing owners - pretty good though). Then literally a 10 min walk to the ground and there are plenty of burger vans outside the ground as well as pizza hut, maccas and kfc. They usually sell beer in all areas of the ground but in the past have barred it in the away end based upon what the police have to say but i'd imagine you wouldn't have any issues as you have travelled a long way rather than the scummy west sham fans that travel by train and then need a police escort back to prevent them causing damage to our local sewage works after another drubbing at the mad stad.

Have a safe trip down, don't enjoy the game, then have a safe trip back up the motorway.

If you play open and allow teams shots on goal then you MIGHT just surpass Sheffield Wednesday!

Head for the World Turned Upsidedown before the game on Basingstoke Rd. Ask one of the locals, i'm sure they'll put you in the right direction (before stealing your wheels.)

It's only 10-15mins walk away. 20 mins if you're fat.

Thanks for advice on pubs should be there early anyway to find one of them.

As for the result not to bothered really as long as we give a good account for our selves like we did at Derby(won 1-0) and Birmingham(lost 1-0)although it was our best performance of the season. Not played aswell since at times just been silly mistakes on a whole that as cost us games but like LoyalRoversSupporter said we will just enjoy it as we have 2 bigger games coming up after this against teams that will be down near the bottom with us
