REFWATCH - Norwich City (H) - Sat 13/12/08 15:00

by T.R.O.L.I. » 09 Dec 2008 13:13

Having had two RFC newbies for our previous two games, this week it's the return of a familiar face:

Referee: T M KETTLE (Lincolnshire - although Soccerbase have him as coming from Berkshire which is highly unlikely)
Assistants: N Murphy and D Naylor
Fourth Official: N A Hair

Profile from the Refworld website

Number of seasons (including this season) as a Football League referee: 6

This season: 34 yellow cards and 2 red cards from 14 games
Last season: 145 yellow cards and 6 red cards from 36 games

As long as 3 points comes tumbling into the Reading bag at the final whistle I couldn't care less what he does or how he does it!

Pretty poor in the first half, but got better in the second. Harpers booking, considering the conditions, was a poor decision.

I thought the lino gave the penalty which was fortunate as he wouldn't have seen Long push Fotheringham in the back. The ref had to have seen the push but decided not to overrule the lino. So from that point of view we were lucky.
