Wasn't Gunnarson's yellow for kicking the ball away?

Not harsh then!

I thought he was pretty good, he was swift with the red card so he must have seen something nasty in it. The Donkeys are going on about the "handball" incident that he didn't give, couldn't see it from East stand, anybody else have a view?

RoyalBlue Mr Singh helps out with Middlesex FA training/development sessions for new referees. According to my son he is a nice guy who knows his stuff.

Here's hoping we think the same about him come 10pm Tuesday!

... :? Not bad, but not brilliant.
Well, brilliant from our perspective but not from Blackpools!!

Clear view from my spot, it was one of those that you feel aggrieved to get given against you and feel the same when you don't get it. The ball was wellied over a distance of around 6-8 yards, Hunt instinctively put his arms up to his face as almost anybody would do and the ball struck them. Given that referees have been instructed to judge whether the hands are in an "unnatural position" (I think is the phrase), on that basis I'd have given it.

Having said that, when a player merely reacts instinctively to a ball flying at his face or body like he would do to a fist, cricket ball, or anything for that matter, and the ball hits his arms, I don't think that's an infringement at all. That to me is ball to hand, not deliberate handball.

Really? I was pretty sure it was something Brynn said to the ref.
