Also, Henry's set-pieces were damn good, too.

Thomas L'Heureux ...we're such a traditional 4-4-2 outfit.

And the last time we tried anything courageous we came off worse.

Still...

Andersen can't be recalled apparently despite the special nature of keepers. Looks like SC will have go with an Academy keeper, recall Kittridge from Basingstoke or chance it with 5 outfield subs. Kevin Doyle is apparently useful as a keeper - although short, but then that never presented a problem for Steve Death did it!

Didn't realise Anderson was on loan, and I thought Bikey still had a game to serve.

Bikey into the bench on both of my offerings and A Cademy-Player instead of Anderson.

Platypuss We've played 3 and won 3 since Doobs has been in for Bikey. It would be very dificult to justify putting Bikey back in.

And we've only conceded 1 goal in 3 in that period.

He only took one free kick that I can remember. Every other time he lined up with S Hunt, who actually took the kick.

Why is nobody posting teams with Henry in them?
Surely he can't have played so badly that we put a left footed player in his position?

gazzer, loyal royal Coppell said he could have played if needed, but thought he would rest him to prepare him for Norwich and Brum. HTH

We missed Cisse last night too. The team didn't look like a team as such...that may be a bit harsh, but Saturday's going to be nervy. I'll say that and then we'll probably beat norwich  I think Henry should get another start and Bikey back will be a boost! Does anyone know how long USA will be out for?

Nonsense. A Marek-Cisse combination may work nicely.

Harper is the one who makes us look a team, he's the one than links play across the pitch and organises us.

Well that ain't a hard choice. drop a sub, or drop the only player who's shown any form at left wing in 30 months

I would just revert back to what we had against Barnsley, apart from the right and the goalie of course. Regarding right wing I think I would keep Henry there and see how he does - with Convey ready to replace him if need be.

So, maybe rather boringly, it would be:

Afed
Rosy
Ingi
Doobs
Stretch
Harps
Cisse
Shunt
Henry
Doyle
Nhunt

Subs:

Academy goalkeeper/Bikey
Marek
Gunnar
Long
Convey

Henry to start again for me. So he didn't exite us with blistering pace like Kebe but his ability on the ball, touch and runs were decent for a first showing. But in true HNA style we get on the back of a homegrown lad after one game. I felt he opened the space for Rosenior to go forward well at times despite only playing this one time with that partnership. Ok faded in the second half but so did many others. He has not played a competetive match for a while either only bench warming. Give him time boys & girls he will come good. Personally FWIW I felt problem yesterday was the sluggish central midfield. I know MM is a decent player and can at times make sublime passes but for me he slowed the game down yesterday far to much and showed me that he is not ready yet for a full role in the team. Combine that with a tiring Gunnarsson the central area becomes disjointed. Harper should of been played in the last 30 mins to inject some spriteliness into the middle of the park.

Fed

Rosenior
Duberry
Ingy
Armstrong

Henry
Harper
Gunnarsson
SHunt

Doyle
NHunt

Subs:

Long
Cisse
Karacan
Convey
ANother(Maybe no keeper)
