If you were there, how could you not know it was away?
They were at home when they beat Newport 2-0, may well have done it away too. Leafing thru that heaven on earth book thingy, there's a bit about it in there. It seems to imply that we were at home when we made that record number of wins. I was just looking for some clarification.
My point is, anybody who went to the match would know it was away regardless of what any book implies.
I was at the home match when we beat Newport 2-0. I was under the impression that this had been the record breaking match. However I now stand corrected.

Percy Freeman grab Stuart Morgan of (then) Colchester by the head and throw him several feet away
Champions celebrations v Derby
Winning the Simod Cup
Us beating Swinedon 4-1 when the heavens opened and soaked all their fans in the Town End - how we laughed
Murts putting Ronaldo on his backside

Blue Army actually sang at the right speed at most championship grounds, but particulaly at Bramall Lane.

I remember when we used to get it right at Elm Park. Why oh why is it so rushed and garbled at the Mad Stad, it just isn't sustainable like that.

I remember 1 shit dull and uninspiring affair against Port Vale, probably the season we got relegated where we had Blue Army going for about 20 minutes without break.

Thats what it should be like.

Im with you on the garbled nonsense at the Madstad. We could blame the drummer, but it aint just him. I havent even heard it song properly at an away ground for nearly 3 years. Its in danger of becoming extinct.

And people wonder why others become nostalgic.

It's the youngsters with their short attention spans and demands for instant gratification.

No one can go the distance these days. Very sad.

I think he means he saw the first ever goal AT the madstad
Which was 10 years ago.
I've seen Reading winning the Championship in quite some style-thrashing Derby 5-0.
The open top bus tour around the town.
New years day thrashing of West Ham, 6-0
Winning away at West Ham 1-0
Running onto the pitch after we won the Championship, seeing the look on Derby fans' faces 8)
*Listening to us getting relegated and later watching it on MOTD.
And this season-hopefully watch the Royals gain promotion back to the PL
