Thou Voice ...indeed it is.

If we cannot beat a Swensea side that we should have been able to, what will the Premiership do to us next season as we are very likely to go up behind Wolves?

In the Premiership for the stupid amount it actually costs to watch teams play, I want to enjoy my season unlike the bitter disapointment of season two there and can see us losing game after game again, perhaps we're beat our own personal record breaking eight games in a row lost. :o

I also think that we need to look at our subs - why oh why, do we wait so late?

Steve Coppell is the man to get us up, but they'd better get some good signings that they actually let play soon or we're going to be absoluetly battered when we return to PL football.

isn't it like 1 loss in the last 10 now or something? calm down dear.

It might very well be a time to strengthen the squad BUT also Coppell needs to react to the dangers on the pitch alot quicker that today. IMO Those changes should have been made closer to half time. We as a club seem to stick to the same old formula of late subs who have little to no chance to impact a game. True it's great when we are in control of a game but trying to switch a game in midfield with long and awry passes clearly does not work. Strengthening the squad tactically needs to happen just as much, if not more than getting in cover for areas where we show weakness or lack of guile.
WE are a target team, without belittling other clubs we need to raise our game to a constant level.

As this is not fantasy football we can procrastinate as much as we want. Everything about running this club is not in our hands.

Cop has said for a while that he would like two new signings in this window, but as much as that we have to find a way to play against an opponent who plays with five accross the middle, we have seen to be pretty poor against that style of formation, we need to get a creative midfielder who can thread a pass and not do what we do at the moment, so very one dimensional and proving to be easy to defend against, it is a case of shaking things up, we didnt last year, which is why we are back in the Championship, and if we dont now then we might well still be here next season, not panic buying, we have been looking since late November, but time to spruce things up a bit.

FiNeRaIn What makes you think we'll be returning to prem football? I think there is a very strong chance we'll be playing championship football, if we don't go up this season we'll lose our stars and the bubble will have burst.

But didn't people - maybe not you - say exactly that in September? That we'd lost our best players and not brought anyone in to strengthen the squad? I just can't believe that after one defeat in 10 you come on here moaning about our manager ...

Gordons Cumming Is Thou Voice SDR in disguise?

Only raises his head when Reading lose.

Very boring........................

...................as are most knee jerkers here on HNA.

They're all out, lovely to see.
All the usual 'experts' come crawling back with their 'expert' opinions.
Lovely to read, because what they type makes so much sense.

It is clear we need one or two new signings.
We need an attacking midfielder. Someone who can make things happen in the midfield.
Someone like Joe Ledley or Daniel Fox.

We need a new midfielder who is a great passer of the ball and can also score some goals.

In other news it's god to see that the, "we lose a game and dodger pops up talking rubbish" paradigm is still functioning.

The 17 Bus
Southbank Old Boy Sat watching Bristol City pull back a 2-0 defecit against Wolves and Dele Adebola shows the value of having something different to bring off the bench, especially if that something different is a big strong centre forward willing to bully defenders

Did not see the game, but being top of the table and winning 2-0 they may well have decided to relax, the players rather than on managers orders, allowing City to get back in against a team acting arrogantly.

I saw the whole game and that definately did not happen.

City had the measure of Wolves and if it was not for the conditions they would have gone into the break 0-0 with Wolves rarely threatening the City Goal. Scored a good goal to go 2-0 up but, TBF, City battered them for the last 20 minutes. They were VERY luck to get a point.

Point to Coppell. Set pieces and wing play will be the key on Tuesday. We have the fire power. We can do it!

He's not dodger I'm afraid. A mere wannabe rather than the real, obnoxious, deal.

I don't think that is a tenuous link there at all. If we don't succeed this season then i fully expect players to make a move for a premier team. That is the natural career aspirations for a number of our squad. Why should this club be any different to any other!.

Think a bid deciding factor will be Stretch v Kightly and Jarvis v Bryn(assuming he is replacing Rosenior)

If our two can keep them quiet, then I dont see much coming from Wolves - last night they were the only two players that looked dangerous
