Avon Royal
glass half full BBCRB said that O'Connor - no 17 - not named on bench but came on as sub. Can Sheffield Wednesday be in trouble for that? :?

Yes, if it's true.

The RW commentary were saying that he was a late inclusion in the 16. Presumably due to an injury? There are allowances made for these types of things aren't there?

Percy's Rocket Oh dear..nice gap between 9.25 and 10pm in this thread, presumably due to overload and the ecstacy of the two goals..

anything that can be done about this???...I was so chuffed I kept trying to get on to the page for a full 30 mins.

Tremendous win lads..............back on track

yeah if it wasn't for that this would probably be a 20 page orgy by now... what a relief. shame wolves snatched the win too. never mind. still got the games in hand. hopefully this will be the turning point for us.

And NONE of you have paid a penny towards this site. Yes, it can be a little frustrating, but this is an unofficial site set up and maintained by a fan. Contribute towards its upkeep and then come on here and moan.

Ouch,

most likely due to all the detritus that is now stored on here, seems like threads rarely auto delete any more.

True, but some of us have and would contribute more if required.

There is an in depth interview with Coppell on the 2nd of March. Someone asks the Question "Is Leroy your best bet, he gets into good positions and looked dangerous when he came on".

Coppell's reply is "Well you expect a substitute to come on and look dangerous. I am just looking at gut feelings, you look at Hunt & Doyle this season, They looked to be before the game the best combination. Leroy's performances and goals, and the results when he has started games, don't make a strong case for him to start".

So he has thought that as Lita is not worth the start, he felt that Shane Long would be a better option when coming off the bench. Which was proved to be right last night.

A quick question, Federici seems to be the #1 GK at the moment...what do you guys think of this? From what I have seen (which is limited unfortunately) he seems up to the task, he is a good goal kick to position. I haven't seen him make any major blunders in front of goal. Opinions??
Also, what is the future of USA?

I think he's doing ok, although he was largely at fault for both goals against Brizzle. THe second one he certainly should have just dropped on top of the ball instead of flapping loosely at the ball. I think his future looks bright tbh.

Looks like under the new leadership of Barack Obama the future of USA will be ok.

Some of his reflex saves would not be achievable by USA IMHO. His kicking is better, his catching seems to be solid and his overall ability seems to be as good. More than happy to see him remain #1

Marcus is likely to return to the USA at the end of the season.

The ref was awful last night. Didn't have a clue which resulted in the frustration of both the home and away fans.

Thanks for the response guys, coverage in Oz is minimal of CCC. Reading haven't been shown for about 2 months now.
Finally a couple of goals!!

BTW, he is almost the definite #2 GK behind Schwarzer in national calculations. We have a few WC qualifires in June/July so he may get some more 'pressure big time' situations to deal with.
We have a friendly against Ireland soon, so will be funny watching my national side against a side with heaps of Royals. Do I want Doyle, the Hunts or possibly even Long to get one past Fed??!!!

Anyway back to Reading not my Aussie interests. Go Royals.
