bishbosh92 Fed

Rosie
Doobs
Bikey
Armstrong

Tabb
Marek
Cisse
Little

Kitson
Long

Subs Doyle N.hunt S.hunt Harper Pearce

What he said. Would normally never consider Long to start but fair enough he's scored recently give him another go. Lita always worked well with Kitson, would be tempted to put him on the bench in place of NHunt.

gazzer, loyal royal
Handsome Man Federici
Rosenior Pearce Bikey SHunt
Little Karacan Harper Tabb
Doyle Long (Kitson for last 30 mins)

really? you'd drop our most consistent performer this season for possibly our most inconsistant?

I'd go with

Federici
Rosenior
Armstrong
Bikey
Pearce

Little
S Hunt
Marek
Harper

Doyle
Long

Subs: hahnemann, Cisse, Tabb/Kebe, Kitson, N. Hunt

I just feel like we need to play Bikey for the composer and distribution. Tuesday night we had 3 out of the 4 defenders lumping it aimlessly up the park. And duberry is costing us goals with poor defending from set pieces at the moment

We need Harper to sit and get Marek into the dangerous positions behind the front two were i think he can be most effective

I can't decide on Kebe or tabb on the bench. Although Tabb looked good when he came on on Tuesday, Kebe's pace in the last 20 minutes I think just gives him the nod (dependant on whether he is fit or not)

That's why I would drop Armstrong. All the other changes would improve the passing as well.

I think Doobs has been under rated in his time here but his errors have been very costly of late and therefore makes way for the long over due return of our best centre half.

It would be easy to drop Long but this would be wrong after he's finally delivered the performance we've been looking for.

Doyle is a highly under rated winger with a very decent cross and Blakey looked a long way short of match fitness.

As much as I love Hunty, his recent form doesn't warrant a place in the 16.

Federici would consider himself unlucky to be dropped but I think USA remains the better keeper..............just. We also badly need some leadership and Marcus can provide that.

LOL @ putting our top scorer on the right wing. Little did more than enough in the 60 mins or so he played on Tuesday to justify keeping his place.

Doyler's been our best crosser of the ball all season, but now Glenda's back...

Looks like Kebe's still a doubt, which is a pity because Glen looks like he isn't up to more than an hour of football. Kebe on after 60 to run at a tired defence would be my dream scenario.

Other than that, the 1001 permutations on this thread show that there's no obvious selection, but I can see Doyle and S Hunt being rested for Kits and Tabb. Gunnar might replace the injured Cisse, and I have a feeling that Matejovsky will be back on the bench, replaced by Harps. Fed and Doobs are in the last chance saloon I reckon. So, a predicted rather than a desired XVI is:-

Fed
Rosey
Doobs
Pearce
Stretch
Blakey
Harps
Gunnar
Tabb
Kits
Long

USA
Cisse (or Bikey if Kalifa is injured)
Matejovsky
S Hunt
Doyle

Why thank you nice to see sme1 agree with me totally agree bout Long never been one of my favorite players,
but has proved himself last couple of games which warrants his place, where as Doyle has gone a bit quiet!!

but with Kitson back we will get back smething we have been missing when he left Hieght and if he and Bikey both start we will be very dangerous from set plays and corners. that is of course if S.hunt is dropped for Tabb as if S.hunts on corners we they wont beat the first man where as Tabb put in a brillaint ball for Longs second tuesday night!!

Ipswich might have Giovani Dos Santos playing for them tomorrow. They just signed him on loan. :|

How about:
Fed

Rosenior Bikey Armstrong

Blakey Cisse Marek Harps Tabb

Long Kitson

Assuming Ipswich play 5 across the midfield.

Fed

Rosenior Bikey Cisse Armstrong

Blakey Marek Harps Tabb

Long Kitson

If they play 4 in midfield, Cisse can drop into the back 4.

Fed

Rosenior Bikey Armstrong

Blakey Cisse Harps Tabb
Marek
Long Kitson

With the 5 in midfield, Marek can push on just behind the front 2 with Cisse and Harps protecting the back 3.

Bikey is athletic enough to be able to carry this off. The 11 here also provides a fair amount of flexibility which could be useful if we find ourselves chasing the game.

Id personally like to see

Hahnemann (purely for a change, I think it needs it, not that Feds has done much wrong)
Rosenior
Bikey
Pearce
Armstrong
Little
Gunnarsson
Marek
Tabb
Doyle
Kitson

Dont think it'll happen, but thats the team Id put out.

GK - Federici
DR - Rosenior
DL - Armstrong
DC - Bikey
DC - Pearce
MR - Little
ML - Tabb
MC - Matejovsky
MC - Harper
ST - Doyle
ST - Kitson

That's what i'm hoping for but i guess it'll be Shunt instead of Tabb and Long instead of Kitson.

We could bring Harper back in to further weaken the midfield I guess if we don't want to create anything either.
