cmonurz It's not 'completely in our hands' at all. We remain in a decent position, but we could win every game before the end of the season and come 4th.

And tbh the phrase 'it's completely in our hands' is irrelevant when we can't string a few wins together, never mind six.

How do you work that out!! If we win every game between now and the end of the season we will be up.

JR ssc is doing a better job this year than anyone else could.
In your completely unfounded opinion.
This board is all about unfounded opinions! At least it was a positive opinion which is better than your persistently negative drivel

I'm very positive about the potential of RFC - one thing the current manager is not, which is one reason why I have a very negative view of him.

There is nothing inherently better or worse in having a positive opinion than in having a negative one.

It is all about the evidence on which you base that opinion and the way you say it.

fwiw, I'm not sure if someone couldn't have done better but I'm 99.9 % sure many people could have done a lot worse.

Sorry, but that's surely just a bit disingeneous on your part?

No its not. If we win all our games we will finish second.
Highly unlikely we will do so admittedly but its certainly not disengenuous its merely pointing out the mathematics.

It looks as though he is wrong because of the home fixture v Birmingham but I wouldn't argue with a man who has just picked a Grand National winner at 100/1.

sorry. I thought we'd dropped short today - Cardiff's goal difference is not enough, is it?

My mistake.

My error was forgetting we have Sheff Utd to play still.

Unless I am being incredibly stupid (which is entirely possible), if we win our remaining 6 games, we will have 87 points. If Birmingham win 5 and lose to us, they will also have 87 points. Our goal difference should still be good enough in that scenario, but it simply isn't true to say we would definitely go up, is it?

Hang on - Cardiff can also get 87 points, and don't have to play Birmingham. So we could win our remaining games and come 4th.

Mate, Usually, I like to engage in articulate conversation. You know... chat about stuff, think about the other person's point of view. Generally civilised sort of chat. However, you're a oxf*rd idiot and therefore, I can't be bothered. I just thought I'd share that with you.

No. We get 87 points and so do Cardiff, Brum and Sheff Utd, our goal difference leaves us in 2nd place. Unless one of them goes on a run beating teams 4-0 and 5-0 every game whilst we only scrape 1-0 wins for the rest of the season.
