Stephen Hunt

Not sure if there is a thread regarding Stephen Hunt, if so please delete.
Anyway, I thought he played well against Blackpool - considering he has been absolutely shocking since Christmas, he put some good crosses in the box and his dead balls were fairly decent too.
I hope it isn't just this one game he goes up in form, but it will continue for the rest of the season at least.

I didn't go so can't comment on his performance. However, he is still shit. He could have played the greatest game of his sad, pathetic, prostitutional little life ever. He is still shit. He will continue to be shit and will always be shit.

stephen hunt is shit.

We all know Huntry is capable of putting a quality ball into the box and that he put 100% effort in every match. The only problem is he seems to be in his own little world at times. I think we should have sold him to Everton for 5m when we had the chance. Still not exactly a bad player to have in your squad at this level.

Do you have evidence that such an offer was received? No. had one been then the clause in the whore's contract would have been triggered.

If the whore is so desperate to leave, why does he not buy himself out of his contract?

And what ever makes anyone think that I don't like the whore?

I did go, so can comment.

He was shit.

I'd be happy to see him go on a free and get the hell off of our wage bill but i'd be surprised if any club will take his wages on.

Hunt has had bursts of outstanding form for the club but unfortunately they've been the exception to the rule.

Technically he isn't a player who should be commanding the kind of wages he's on but his effort and commitment on the pitch has generally seen him contriubute more than a lot of our players over the last 2 seasons.

When he's good he's been very good but for most of the time he just isn't good enough because he's far too inconsistent.

I liked the way he was first to the ref almost every time against Sheffield United.

I think Shunt has become the new Andy Hughes. Yes, he has a "great engine" - but there's now no final ball. In the game yesterday he seldom tried to take on his man or put in a cross (this becoming the norm). He seemed content just to hit the ball against the nearest man to try and win a throw.

Maybe all his confidence has gone, but that's two seasons in a row he has lost form badly after Christmas. It still astonishes me that he won player of the season last year when he went so quickly downhill after he signed his new contract.

i thought he set up his brother, put in a couple of crosses that didnt hit the 1st man or go over the by line and put in some much improved corners and free kicks vs blackpool?
