As someone said, even the worst 0 - 0 draw can be entertaining because you are pushing for that winning goal. It really does make a difference when you are at the game because of all the fans and everything.

But for the record:
Game least enjoyed this season: Coventry away - just knew there was never going to be a goal
Most enjoyed: Bristol City away or Sheff Utd away. But Cardiff in cup was good despite loss

This season it has to be Carduff at home with Fedders scoring that last minute injury time goal and then watching the slapheads getting excited.

Away has to be Brizzle. After all it was me birthday. Couldn't go wrong really.

Away to Bristol city. Looking back............ I'm not that sure it was a Reading team that played that day. Whoever they were they played superbly well and were a joy to watch.

[
North Somerset Royal Last game I really enjoyed was Sheff Wed away particularly being told to "f**k off back to the 4th division where you belong Madejski United" afterwards by irate Owls. Also enjoyed Birmingham away and both away trips to Cardiff this season.

Madejski united........ Wow what a brilliant idea and what a brilliant name. I wonder if Sir John would mind the publicity though !

There is no place on this web site for such disgusting and disturbing language. Do not realise that Children and Vulnerable adults read the postings on this site. If you mention that O word, again I will put a formal complaint in against you.

Deathy
TBM ???

(Reading game, obviously)

Pre xmas.

The minutes applause for the young lad at the Saints game just made me feel a bit pants, and the game itself was shocking and I walked out at half time. I just didn't want to be there that day.
Then I went to a game in Feb and we were so bad that I left again at half time.

Now I don't leave games early, even for the sake of traffic, but the football was crap, the effort wasn't there either, and the atmosphere just painful to be a part of. And as I don't bother with a season ticket for now, I sit on my own, and that just left me feeling like not bothering anymore.

If you can enjoy the game and there's a jovial atmosphere, sitting on your own doesn't matter, because you don't feel alone. But everything I said above about the game and stuff, I just didn't want to be there anymore and haven't been back since.

I may, may go to a play-off home leg, but I'm not sure. I'm falling out of love with the game. I'm starting to hate everything about it now. Hopefully that'll change, because I miss the football, the atmosphere, the looking forward to games. But I don't feel part of the club any more. And I used too!

Boo!

I felt exactly the same way before the Watford home game in 2007. Never felt so negative before a game and remember coming away from the game feeling if we played like that again the following season we'd go down...My gut feelings after the last home game of a season do seem to have a funny knack of coming true! In 2006 i said to a mate after the season ended that we'd finish Top 10 the following season and had a chance of qualifying for Europe, and last year deep down i knew after the Spurs game that we were down. From a long way back felt that 4 points in the last 2 games would be enough to keep us up.

I do empathise with how you feel generally. The spark from attending matches seems to have gone, and if i had to go on my own probably wouldnt bother at all.

Last night.

Flowing football, commitment and a bit of flair.

Didnt turn out to be readings worst starting line up for years - something the pessimists on this board had stated.

I wouldn't bet on it, I've seen 1 league away win ever... And we still got relegated on GD.
