Oh common, it's a fairly harmless joke. I had a quick look at a Burnley message board - it was pretty good actually, reasonable comments etc. Fair bit of Southerner stereotyping going on though, especially regarding our not selling out the away end at Turf Moor.

The Blackburn - Burnley rivalry in football is one of the most intense. The stories that I have heard...

My favourite was soon after Blackburn got knocked out of the Champions League in the first round the season after they won the Prem. Some dingles paid a vist and on the "Welcome to Blackburn" road signs had painted "Twinned with Trelleborgs".

Close, but it was actually the Welcometo Burnley signs they changed.

Are you sure about that?

Another one was when the Blackburn police forced the burnley coaches to park 6 miles away and force the dingles to walk
