If there is a shred of truth in this then SHunt is even more an egotistical prima donna than I already thought he was. Having read his "I'm happy with my form during the last few months" bollox in the newspaper a few weeks ago, he clearly believes he's a far better player than we all know he is. Idiot.

Seriously, I cannot think of a player I have ever wanted to see leave Reading more than Stephen Hunt :|

If there is a God Roy Keane will offer him a way out and he will accept it

Seriously, just oxf*rd off

Isn't it funny how Kitson is in the thick of the drama again. He was supposedly at the centre of all the trouble in the dressing room last season wasn't he?

Snowball The choice of Church was a big surprise.

Does anyone think it was a message to the overpaid?

Maybe so, and rightly so, and does it matter now?

Before the season starts, Doyle, Lita and Kitson will be long gone.

A new dawn...

Indeed. Surprised Coppell brought him back. Back to Stokes ressies for Kits. I wont miss him.

would the team not have been announced to the team at hogwood in the morning rather than in the dressing room 20 minutes before kick off??

Depending on who the new manager is, that may not be true for Doyle.

I don't think there was any surprise that Kitson or Shunt didn't start. The surprise with Church is that he came in ahead of Mooney, who had at least been playing in the Championship.

Church didn't look especially like scoring, but he offered us a lot more athelticism than Kitson would have done. Which we needed.

I agree Ian. Mooney deserved a start. Kitson didn't. I thought Church did ok but shocked he started.
