rhroyalThames I hope he dies. Hate him.
Ridiculous.
He served our club well for the time he has been here just the last 4 months his heart wasn't there like most of the players

It is a touch subtle....
Captain Pugwash type reference I believe.
Rodgers
Roger the Cabin Boy.
Except of course the cabin boy in Captain Pugwash wasn't called Roger, he was called Tom iirc.

Plymouth_RoyalScarfaceBarry the bird boggler Any chance of Reading doing a buy one get one free? Buy Stephen Hunt, get Jimmy Kebe free.
Whilst I'm driving Hunt to Everton, I'll run over Kebe. Seriously we could really do with 2 new wingers who can consistantly cross the ball into the box, rather than into the stand.
JAMES HENRY
i dont know how many people have seen his deliveries for millwall, but they were a peach.

2 world wars, 1 world cup I've defended him in the past and it seems I've been wrong.
I thought the contract would settle him as a player.
And it did - settled him so much he wasn't bothered to play for us.
I'm no longer defending him. We want players who *want* to play for us.
As it happens I think now Coppell's gone he'll plummet back to being a nobody.
Big shame.

andrew1957 Some of the comments on here are a bit bitter and harsh. Hunt has been a good player for us at times - the problem is that for two seasons he has played well until Christmas and then been truly awful after New Year. I have no explanation except that either his heart has not been in it or that he gives so much early in the season that he has nothing left, but either way is time for him to move on.
I hope we get what we can and I would definitely prefer Kebe or Robson-Kanu the left. Don't underestimate the latter. Swindon fans were on the web saying he is an even better player than 32 goal Simon Cox. The only problem with him is that he has been injury prone so far in his fledgling career.
Anyway good luck to Hunt wherever you go and I hope we do get £2/3M plus for him. He is probably worth that to a PL team even if he does just play half a season.

I've been loyal to Reading...
Maybe a fresh start would be good for me and the club.

Shortbread Brief note to the club:
Please ignore this bit:I've been loyal to Reading...
But do take note of this bit:Maybe a fresh start would be good for me and the club.
I really don't want to see any loyalty bonuses heading his way as a result of this - this is a request to leave.

Sun Tzu What money we'd get I have no idea as these things depend so much onhow much a buying club is willing to spend.
