Play Against the Legends !!

Im looking to arrange a half time game for RFC supporters to play against a team of Reading Legends at the Didcot game on the 15/07/09.

The catch is to play you have to pay!

Your thoughts and comments would be good , im just testing the water at the moment to see the intrest levels.

All the money will go towards Murts'S designated charitys and DTFC.

Part of the deal will include Two free tickets per player , Kit and Food and im trying to arrange something with RFC.

Didcot was historically a Berkshire town up until 1973 when the government decided that natural features (such as the river Thames) weren't sufficient to use as county boundaries and instead made the boundaries invisible lines.

Oxford United weren't even a league club 11 years previous to that (in their former guise as Headington United), and they're not a league club now.

Same here. I'd happily hurl cash at this as it's for charity essentially. But there is only so much I can actually afford.

Thanks for all your PM.s. I will hopefully have some further information by the weekend. I am in the process of confirming the Legends team at the moment.

As for the cost so far the maximum offer i have recieved is £120 to play !! we may even do an e bay auction and the six highest bidders will be the team ? however one of you will have to go in Goal !

Sorry for the lack of info re the match , i am just waiting to confirm the legends team , however i can tell you that the package will include the following,

Two free tickets per player.
Match shirt , including name and number , date of game ect
14 min game at half time across the pitch
Team line ups , pen pics ect in the programm.
Player bar tickets after the game which will include food !

At the moment it really depends on what legends can play.
