You're right - indeed we did. Now that was a good move on Hammond's part!

Ugh - that pic is just rank....

Top bloke, top pro. One of the few not to trot out platitudes about the club he is leaving. You can tell he really means what he says.

Surprisingly, I feel sort of warm to Wolves, too, esp given Squeaky's comments about dealing with them.

Am sure Foley, Keogh, Ward and the "Bobbins" Geordie were all good reasons for Doyler to go there. That, and the promise of regular first team footy in a World Cup year.

Only downside is that it is the Black Country - quite possibly the most depressing place I have been in the UK with the exceptions of Skelmersdale and Consett. Oh, and Corby. Anyone know where the Wolves training ground is so that it is an easy journey from "somewhere nice"?

All the best Doyler.

Must be all those defeats at Molineux getting you down!

Believe it or not, he is allowed to leave the City limits and find somewhere to reside that will attempt to match the cultural, pastoral and aesthetic delights of Reading.

Well, given that any Reading fan knew that he was about to leave, that says more about you than it does about the club.

Yes, Wolverhampton is the dregs as far as cities go, but the surrounding countryside is great - and much cheaper than living in the Thames Valley.

Shropshire - 25 minutes down the M54 - is a stunning place to live. Much nicer than Berkshire.

Bridgnorth is less than 15 miles from Wolverhampton, FFS! What do we have that compares?

Thaumagurist* You've outstayed your welcome. Reading is not a country town. Now piss off.

Don't be like that, Forrest.
