Wolf - in fairness, there's plenty on this board that don't agree with Percy.

I quote "Doyle's not that nice-a-lad he makes out to be though.

For *****'s 21st I tried to get a fully signed RFC shirt for her and the only person I missed out on bar a few squad players was Doyle as he was a billy big boots and despite queing up before the game 3 times as the players arrived, he was pretty much the only one that blanked me by running straight in from his car that wouldn't sign it and he even snubbed young kids next to me and disabled people too. You speak to any "vet" around the players entrance when they arrive, they'll all tell you the same! "when he fir st arrived he wouldn't go in until everybody has their stuff signed" unless he was late.

First season he came in wearing ill fitting clothes and looked like a player working from a shoe string, then once we made the prem, the Gucci man bags came out and he didn't want to know anybody! 2+2 I put it down to, but 3 weeks personal sight of this proved me wrong..."

Sadly, money changes everyone, even the nicest of us.

His move away is good for us and good for him. Hope it works out, his ego certainly requires a bigger stage!!

Reading FC Legend. Hope he does well by banging in the goals for Wolves and Ireland, he deserves to play at the highest level with his determination over the years and persistance.

See you on MOTD next season Doyler and hopefully at the Mad Stad in the very near future :)

Will miss you but good luck

Kevin Doyle is the player that I held in the highest regard and had the most respect for.

I think he is a great man and fantastic character and I would welcome and love to see him back at Reading in the future.

Thanks for all those great performances and commitment in a Reading shirt. A man who wore his heart on his sleeve and was always honest both on and off the pitch.

Wolves have got themselves a great player.

Not at all. Just a friends opinion who no longer posts on here. And it's not meant to change an opinion of KD, but just shows how someone changes when money and fame come along. He isn't the squeeky clean boy we all saw when he arrived. You can ask RL's daughter all about that!

I'd rather not hear more about RL's family's exploits thank you. Heard far too much already.

Kevin Dolye is definitely one of the best players I've ever seen play for Reading and I'm going back to the 70's here. Gutted he's leaving but he goes with my best wishes. He's a player with integrity and honesty. He knew how much Reading FC wanted to get back to the prem so he stayed to help try to achieve it, when he could've just walked.

Wolves are lucky to have him. He deserves to be in the prem but I fear he may find himself back in the championship as Wolves must be odds on for the drop. They weren't even that good last season. On the bright side he might come back when we go up?

I met him in the Turtle the night we lost to Burnley in the play offs. No hint then he was leaving but as ever he said he was happy enough to stay with Reading. I guess £6.5m is just too good to turn down both for him and Sir John Madejski  .

Big Foot Favourite Doyle goal for me was probably his one after 16 seconds away at Sheff Utd 8)

agreed, don't think I've celebrated a goal as much as that one.

It's been 30 degrees all week joe. No wonder he's sweating like a scouser in dixons.

Any one else think he doesn't look 100% into the whole thing in that pic?

Still made me nearly cry though.
