winchester_royal As long as it keeps him out of midfield.

With the players at our disposal I would be pretty surprised if Cisse gets a game in midfield.

Tabb, Marek, Harper, Karacan, Gunarsson, (and I suspect) Davies, Sigurdsson >>> Cisse.

i agree that we may need a defender in before the season starts (experienced or not).

i am unshore on this but is sol campbell available. he would be a great additon to the squad and would bring in plenty of experience. i dont know if he would come to us but if we could get him i think that would be an excellent signing

Bit too Championship Manager for me, that one. Plus he must be on a small fortune down at Pompey, so regardless of whether he's available or not, WCBAP.

Also, does the name Martin Keown mean anything?

wonder what team Buck will pick tonight? There are two easy games and then a slightly harder one. I think he'll start playing players for close to the full 90 now to get match fitness up. So maybe split the team into two even squads for the first couple and then pick his "best" X1 for the final swedish game and the Chelsea match?

Team for tonight - half of best team....?
A Fed
Rosenior
Bertrand
Bikey
Pearce
Gunn
Karacan
Siggurdson
Robson-Kanu
Long
Bignall

Team for 2nd game?
Hamer
S Davies
Stretch
Cisse
Pearce
Tabb
Harps
Marek
Henry
Church
Kebe

If we signed any new players, would we fly them out to Sweden make them wait to hook up?
We're only in Sweden for a little bit.

When we signed Bryn he flew out to Sweden to meet his teammates.
