oh my oxf*rd gosh.
What a half-time score.
I've been super-impressed by Davies, Pearce and Long this half.
Federici clearly is nervous, but looked a little better towards the end; and despite his nerves he's made a few decent saves, even if Chelsea are saying he's doing it "for the camera's" ( )
Little luck for Kebe's goal but Davies saw the opportunity for the goal.
Pearce's positioning has been brilliant. And yet again, he's our captain.
Keep it up, lads.

Einstein agogo Ist half verdict
started like rabbits in the headlights.. but got more into it
feds was rather lame , scary , inconsistant GK... i bet he has the ability , needs more belief
davies and kanu looked good
Long hardly touched it , not sure this formation is for him]
Tabb - this guy , just doesn't do it for me? he doesn't seem like a reading player , too difficult for words
pearce looks fairly solid , cisse -not really noticed him much
roseinor - doesn't look good enough
LB guy(?) not that sure about him
Kebe - same as usual crap and good in equal amounts..good composure for goal
gunnarsson - solid

I'd probably still have Armstrong ahead of Bertrand, but only just and I still think the full backs are in descending order of quality: Armstrong>Bertrand>>>Rosenior>Kelly. I'd like to see Harper & Marek with one of Karacan or Davies personally. Looking forward to seeing Henry, Karacan, Bikey & Church 2nd half

good Justintv feed, caught most of the first half, Robson-Kanu, Davis bags of energy, Davis away at Aldershot for a couple of years and effectively off the radar looks very good and confident, goal scoring midfielder could well develop into the "Sidwell" we have been looking for. But.............Fed looks anything but safe, shot stopping ok but the basics are leaving a lot to be desired.

Tabb and Gunnar's role are clearly midfield destroyers - and they've been doing a decent job I think, with Gunnar probably slightly better. Need to improve passing a bit.

Rosey been pretty weak - some of his passing back to keeper has been terrible.

They really were regulations saves that he made look a little spectacular though

As for Long, apart from his run to win the free kick he looked out of it (which isnt surprising considering the oppo)

As for Kebe, the reason he still gets criticism is because he still flatters to deceive. He had a lot of the ball in the first half and didnt really do anything with it. The goal was a good bit of support play, and a composed finish though

Cisse has gone into the midfield to replace Gunnar with Bikey on at centre back

Did Marek play in Sweden? I've not seen anything about him being injured, I hope he's not on his way out.

who came on after half-time? I saw someone running around waving his arms around so I'm guessing that's Harps.

Official site says:
"Scott Davies replaces Simon Church in midfield <snip>
Marek Matejovsky was due to start in place of Davies, but the Czech failed a late fitness test on a groin injury"

So hopefully he is staying.
