After the Swansea game Rodgers was quoted "It's not about one game or even one season, we are in the process of rebuilding"

You can read a lot into that statement.
- I don't have the funds to buy, so I have to develop the players that are here
- I don't really expect to finish high in the table this year
- Fans need to lower their expections

It's all very well saying we should give the younger "a chance" but how long do you give them? We have, what, just over a week until the end of the transfer window? Is this "chance" for them going to be until the next window in January when it could all be too late?

It shouldn't also be assumed that exposure to playing in a poor run of results is in every way "character-building" - it can also be thoroughly demoralising.
