winchester_royal Also, the OS has been astonishingly bad in keeping us up to date with this.

It's been 2.5 hours since the deadline shut, and we still don't have a oxf*rd clue what has happened.

I think it's sort of an unofficial club policy to treat the closing of the transfer window with disdain.

It's a proper load of tits, isnt it! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that during this news blackout we've signed someone who's half decent.

So are we no stronger now than we were before the signing of Oh Dear? Or has that in fact strengthened us?

Simple question. I want to see you you answer it.

Gutted to hear, but good luck to the fellah. He'll be back in the Premier League next season.

Royalee First team regular?

What I mean is, he's worth more to us than a loan deal, even if it is in a swap for Howard.

I really hope Howard, if he is coming, will make me eat my words.

Howard is shite - our academy boys will show that

I think that would be accurate. Some of us saw his qualities.

So we get rid of player who plays in the same position to a few other experienced midfielders that we have and who hasn't really performed well for us since Sidwell left and in return we get an attacking central midfielder who for whom the competition is youngsters. Makes sense to me.

Karacan is better than Howard

Karacan defensive, Howard attacking. They are not competing for the same midfield place.

Try thinking before you post.

I thought Sigurdsson did. Every match I have seen Karacan has played just in front of the back 4.

The poor barstewards are obviously still trying to work out how the hell they can talk their way out of the lastest farcical episode of the mess that has been our dealings in this transfer window.
