Kevin Lisbie didn't set the world alight during his short spell on loan, 1 appearance, 1 injury.

Wycombe Royal
Deathy Why is it so many see just how bad Kebe is, but Rodgers can't?

Sixteen assists I think it was last season.

Set up half our goals this season (you could even argue that he has set up 3 of the 4)

Tells me the fans can't see properly. He isn't a world beater but he creates goals, and at the moment he seems to be the only one doing that.

Indeed. As frustrating as Kebe is, he’s the only experienced player in the squad that’s got both pace and trickery. If he could do that on a week-in, week-out he’d be playing at a much higher level. You’ve just got to accept that he’s going to have a few stinkers and blinders throughout the season. I'd rather have the occasional moments of brilliance, than the relentless mediocrity of someone like Oster. It doesn't help, either, that Kebe's following in the footsteps of the best winger that Reading's ever had.

Be interesting seeing how McAnuff fares, once he’s fit.

I like Kebe. Yes he's frustrating but on his day he can terrorise anybody.

I can't help but think there's some kind of racial element to all the abuse he gets.

Daley Thompson

Mark Robins was awful on loan to us.

Paul Bodin, Peter van der Kwaak, Keith Scott, James Harper, Mass "I'm addicted to McDonalds" Saar, Paul Brayson and of course Sean Evers.

Likewise Robert Codner.

A class apart from the ordinarily crap like Brooker, Gurney, Swales et al.

I thought there was a rule that any 106 players cannot be included in this list!

Deathy James Lambert

Think that's a little unfair. Pissing it all away isn't the same as being out-and-out worst.

Indeed - I missed Robin Friday but, for me, James Lambert was one of the most exciting / gifted players to play for Reading in the next couple of decades. Shame it all went awry and he never followed through on the early promise.

He's 36 today!!

Whereas Nicky Forster is also 36 and has 500 games and over 200 goals to his name!

It's all about application.

I also think Kebe is infuriating but he makes stuff happen. And I will stick to that opinion.

With respect James wasn't a patch on Robin. The best thing he did was the goal against Forest. Skilful, yes, but that was about it. You need more.

E.g I'm skilful...................

As I said, I didn't see Friday so was not comparing the 2, just that there were very few, if any players at the club in the next 20 years who could match Lambert for flair. He had skill and vision aplenty. The first few games he played he was a bloody revelation. He was directing play in and around the box, dinking little passes, telling the established pros where to make their runs. I thought he was fantastic at the time.
