Terminal Boardom At this rate, every one of our players will be work in progress which, quite frankly, scares the shit out of me.

Dunno if this has already been said, but he was basically playing as a right back AND a winger, having to fill a massive void on the right going forward, whilst also thinking "oh shit, i better get back". no wonder he looked a bit hesitant.

He's obviously a good footballer with great pace, he just needs help as he's young.

I do think our young defenders will benifit big time from Ivar's return to the squad.

If he can come back at his previous level I think he would be in the team over Pearce and I think he's the kind of player who will calm nerves and inspire confidence in our young team.

I'm not sure Cummings was exactly want we needed, I know we tried to sign players with more experience to replace Rosenior, but he will get better. The comparison to Betrand makes things a bit harder for him too, Bertrand is a very good player and further along in his development, I'd imagine Bertrand looked like Cummings and few seasons back...

At the end of the day:

- He has played 2 games
- He is 20
- He may read this board

Those complaining are probably among the sizeable number that immediately start criticising things that were fine when it was 0-0 but all of a sudden become terrible when you are 1-0 down... e.g. O'Dea plays square ball to Alex Pearce because he is in space (crowd groan because the ball has not gone forward). If O'Dea had launched the ball upfront and it hadn't landed straight on Rasiak's head the crowd would have groaned too.

Those chanting 4-4-2 v Donc - muppets.

There is a little way to go but anyone who couldn't see the encouragement from the way we played v Cardiff and totally outplaying a top 6 team is blinkered.

If we finish 13th then kick on next season and finish 4th/5th that should be seen as a success considering sales of Doyle/Bikey + others. But this crowd is spoilt.

LOLz

But if true, Hi Shaun, don't worry about pushing on into the oppo's third of the pitch, you look like you might do OK with a bit of a marauding attitude. Also, if stuff goes wrong some people might get on your back but don't sweat it, they're a bit simple

Hi shaun, just wanted to say i was a bit harsh to say that you didn't look like a very good prospect after 2 games. Now I've seen you play several times I think I can make a more informed judgement...

You're not very good.

I honestly thought the whole point of being a defender was that you are able to defend

I don't think he once stopped Thomas from getting in a cross yesterday. He is piss poor

Royalee He looked nervous and needs to push on more to support the winger, but he's young and he's got the ability so I'm not worried. He'll come good.

Now I'm worried.

Digusting peformance yesterday. It was league 2/conference standard, he is out of his depth, never looks comfortable on the ball either.

The ironic thing is that Rodgered said that Cummings and McAnuff were modern footballers - fast, athletic, overlapping. Cummings is yet to be seen running down the wing. He ain't fast either as the race to the ball re the first WBA goal yesterday proved. McAnuff is lighweight. He makes Convey look like a tough tackler. I'd rather have Ron Harris and Charlie Cooke as right back and winger than these two "modern" footballers. At least Harris could defend and Cooke could attack. Not like our Cummings and McAnuff.

I very rarely criticise our own players, even if they are completely usless I will hold back as long as they are giving 100% but Cummings is appalling!

He may well be giving 100% - it's just that he's sooo bad and out of his depth he looks constantly lost on the pitch. Cummings really is as bad (if not worse) than some of the Tommy Burns era signings.

If you are reading this Shaun, please remind us all on how you actually gave insider info on the club and players you spent a period on loan to at the start of the season and then managed to get so ripped it was as if you'd never seen them before.

D'you think they had it in for you!

Or were they the club that had actually done their homework.
