I'm not going so Reading are bound to score (haven't seen us score since November 2008 and only missed 4 home matches in that time).

I can't even bring myself to care about the result tomorrow, such is the utter garbage we have produced for near 10 months.

1-1

You will take the lead so our fans will stop abusing Rodgers for a whilel but comeback and equalise 2nd half.

Reading's last 12 home games:

W 0 D 4 L 8 F 4 A 13 Points 4

Watford's last 12 away games

W 6 D 2 L 4 F 18 A 16 Points 20

I've bet against Reading in every home game since early March and made a tidy profit. This week I thought the bookies might finally cotton on to how bad we are at home, but no. Reading Evens Watford 3/1

It's madness. I'm not saying we can't win but those odds have no basis in fact and, once again, i'll be betting against Reading, with a few side bets to lose to Nil, purely on the grounds of logic.

I think you have found the reason for our abysmal form, the players have cottoned on to this and are supplementing their wages.

0-2, 1 goal in each half

More Watford than Reading fans left at 80 minutes

I think at some point the season is going to turn, why not today when the players have something to prove?

The negativity here is a little bizarre, considering the last time i went to a match was away at swansea in the reply of the FA cup, and Swansea were a 4th divison team, and we were a second division team.

Swansea went out full pelt, they huffed and they puffed, and the Reading team was awful. Yes we won. 1-0 in extra time, but did not deserve it at all.

The manger was Steve Coppell, Hahnemann, Sidwell, Harper were among the players on the pitch, forster scored the goal.

This was in january i think. I also believe it was a while after coppell had taken over. The next season was a different story.

Amazing how quickly people forget the past. Praise coppell for what he achieved, not for the way he played in the first stages at the club.

Sure, criticise the team, but remember this!
