Deathy So Adi Williams writes in the Reading Post about the team, and this gets moved to general football? :|

I really thought that this sort of thing belonged in the Kevin Harper thread on the Team board.

Barry the bird boggler Just for the record, in all his time at Reading he was never Ady. He was Adrian or Adie.

I thought so too. Stranded says no.

It was never with a 'y'. Adrian or Adie.

Still, nice to know he's not beating his missus anymore and happy to write for a paper.

Stranded Not really sure what your problem is here.

1. It is Ady - http://www.soccerbase.com/players_detai ... yerid=8529

2. He played 4 season at the Madjeski when he rejoined us - and did make over 350 apps in all.

So what is actually wrong with the article.

The article is misleading:
Williams spent four years at Madejski Stadium, making more than 350 appearances for the club.

It suggests he was making 350 appearances for the club during that four year period spent at the Madejski.

He used to be called Adie, but maybe he prefers Ady now. Similar to Andy Cole when MOTD commentators were suddenly calling him Andrew Cole!

I believe that his central defensive partner was Ady
