andrew1957
andrew1957 I predict that RFC will surprise everyone by winning quite comfortably tonight - then go on and beat Boro on Saturday and that within a coupe of weeks everyone on Hobnob will be raving about Rodgers being a tactical genius.

So far so good

Patience, Andrew, patience (I'll volunteer to be part of you car cleaning team if it happens!)

SWLR Got a feeling we will win this one. No logic or RTGs, just a feeling inside of me when I walk down the road, but then maybe its because I'm a Readinger, that I love Reading so.

1-2, away support 286 including the coach driver.

Dirk Gently I'd not say this is quite as much of a home banker as most people are saying.

Away from the MadStad and the spectre of "no wins since January" - and without the fear of the reaction of sections of the East Stand if anyone makes a mistake - the players can relax a bit without so much pressure on. Everyon'es written them off, they might just surprise a few people.

I think the form table disagrees with you:
http://www.4thegame.com/statistics/championship/tables/currentform.html

Top form teams:
1 Newcastle United 6 5 0 1 12 3 9 15 W W W L W W
2 West Bromwich Albion 6 4 1 1 15 5 10 13 W D W W W L
3 Blackpool 6 4 1 1 11 5 6 13 D W L W W W
4 Preston North End 6 4 1 1 11 7 4 13 W D W L W W
5 Queens Park Rangers 6 3 2 1 10 5 5 11 L D W D W W

Bottom form teams:
20 Reading 6 1 2 3 7 9 -2 5 L W D L L D
21 Coventry City 6 1 2 3 8 12 -4 5 L L D W L D
22 Barnsley 6 1 1 4 6 12 -6 4 L L L W D L
23 Ipswich Town 6 0 3 3 6 14 -8 3 L D L D D L
24 Plymouth Argyle 6 0 0 6 4 13 -9 0 L L L L L L

What do you predict will happen when the top form teams meet the bottom form teams? ...oh

And sure enough, our next fixtures are:

Tuesday, 29 September 2009
Preston v Reading, 19:45

Saturday, 3 October 2009
Reading v Middlesbrough, 15:00

Saturday, 17 October 2009
West Brom v Reading, 15:00

Tuesday, 20 October 2009
QPR v Reading, 19:45

So we have Preston who are 4th in the form table, West Brom who are 2nd in the form table, QPR who are 5th in the form table, and we also have Middlesbrough which are sure to be a tough team even though they are "only" 9th in the form table.

As for ourselves.. we are 20th on the form table and 21st in the league.
It is time to face the facts. We are shit. Rodgers is shit. We will most likely lose our next four matches.

Thank god for stats.

Yeah great prediction Dirk

You've pretty much covered every result there from a narrow defeat, a draw, through to a Reading win.

In fairness, the attendance figure probably isn't far wrong either. Kudos to you sir.

Thank you sir, but I suspect after 12 years of HNA predictions - the words 'monkey, typewriter and the complete works of Shakespere' could equally apply.
