leww_rfc Bignall scored again today.

Played a good game, too (County are my local team, I go occasionally). One of the few highlights of a pretty dire match - still not sure if he's got enough to make it at our (current) level, but I'd currently rather him than Rasiak...

Maguire Bristol ROvers supporter on the train back last night was banging on about how class Andersen (sp) is.

On the bright side Fed and Hamer better start looking over their shoulders based on Andersen at Bristol Rovers

Based on this perfomance, and barring any major injuries I can see him being a Premiership keeper in the not too distant future, and I think we have come out of the situation better after Forster went to Norwich (initially I was gutted). The Reading keeper must be a class act if he is keeping Andersen out of the side.

He obviously needed time on loan because he's always been atrocious whenever I've seen him in the reserves.

was at the Millwall v Yeovil game last night. Posted on another thread I wasn't very impressed with Henry, he tried to take on one player too many and didn't seem to try and tackle. McCarthy on the other hand didn't look too bad although he didn't have much to deal with bar some very dodgy back passes. He claimed everything, organised the defence and was brave in claiming the ball (he got taken out in the second half by a bad challange that shoulda been a red card).

I think this says more about your judgement, rather than Bristol Rovers or Reading's. He is very very highly thought of here.

Fair play to Andersen, I've always wondered why Reading bothered keeping him on, i suppose he's finally starting to show why. He was absolutely atrocious for Torquay when on loan, dire for Brighton as well but by all acccounts he's been immense for Bristol Rovers.

McCarthy is another very good young goalkeeper, a bit spoiled for choice at the moment!

Bignal also looking the mutts nuts at Stockers. He's one I think we might see back here soon also showing Shane Long up.

Just a note on Rosey - anyone see his 'delightful' clearance (not) vs Sheffield United that set up their first goal?

Nice to see Mikkel coming good.

Maybe we can start calling him SchMikkel?

Only slight surprise in there is Tabb - thought he did alright whenever he played, but I guess we've simply got too many similar players in the squad at the moment and he's probably earning too much to be sitting on the bench.

Good work. Just what all four need. Tabb though I expect will be off in January.

Yeah pity about Tabb, but Gunnar has slightly more craft, Kara slightly more energy, Cisse slightly more bite and Howard slightly more attacking threat.

Shame about Tabb - always feel he gives 100%. Maybe he will go out on laon do well and still force his way back into the team.

I like Davies as well but the step up from League 2 in one season is probably too much. Needs a season in League 1.

As for Mooney - he seems to have scored when given a chance both on loan and here but neither SC or BR seem convinced enough to give him a league start.

Main concern for me is full back. If Kelly goes we will have no cover at all as Armstrong is out. On the other hand Kelly needs games so I guess we have to take the risk.

We've got Jake Taylor who has been in the Wales U21 squad and is probably not too far behind Kelly. O'Dea cana lso play fullback can;t he ?
Not a lot on the right though, especially if Davies is going out as well.
