Well the clueless one has brought us another example of his supreme talent - another relegation classic. Good first 20 minutes and another set piece Mills goal and things are looking OK - WBA look sluggish and uncertain - Mcanuff misses a good chance blazing over the bar. Then WTF Mcanuff shanks a back pass leaving Fed exposed 1-1 and WBA are back in the game with a vengeance and its downhill all the way. One interesting moment in the second half when the whole right side of our team hold a mini conference during a break in play to try and work out what to do - so much for the bumper book of tactics.

Ratings

Fed 7 - had some problems with crosses again but made a number of good saves to prevent a hammering in the second half
Cummings 0- one of the worst performances I have seen from a left back - you made Paul Bodin look good - did he make a tackle in the game?
Mills 7- reasonable until went off
Ingi 6 - OK but struggled with some of the off the ball movement
Bertrand 5 - average then injured
Karacan 6 - ran around a lot but few tackles
Cisse 5 - did reasonably well in centre mid and at centre back
fat ponce 2 - BRs blue eyed chubster was not flattered in orange, looked half stone overweight, slow, waits too long to hit simple forward passes, and leaves a huge whole in centre mid when we lose the ball as he waddles back into his own half - how is he keeping Sigurdsson out of the side
Kebe 4- average and anonymous
Hunt 3 - running around a lot with very little impact seems to be your main talent - not much use to us as you don't make anything happen either on or off the ball
Mcanuff 2 - you miss a good chance to score, you gift WBA a goal to get them back in the game, and you disappeared in to their full backs pocket
Subs
O'Dea 3 - you do not appear to be a full back but well done for having a go at it
Long 1 - clown feet
Rasiak 1 - apparently you came on and were playing, I'm sorry but I missed any impact you might have had

I think there is a big, big problem with the team's fitness. Not sure what Rodgers is doing in training, but the players completely ran out of puff in the second half. Long looks about 2 stone overweight. Obviously Howard is carrying some extra baggage, but the whole team just looked completely lethargic after half time. Perhaps that explains Kebe's cracking first half performance, then disappearing act in the second?

Also, I second the view that Cummings is the worst right back I have ever seen in the hoops. WBA had him worked out from the start - everything went through Jerome on the left. Bertrand then O'Dea hardly had anything to do.

Not sure why Mills is getting such rave reviews - I thought he got pulled out of position a lot, especially in the second half. However, I think both him and Cisse were trying to cover for the inpet Cummings on several occasions.

Final thoughts - Howard wasn't as great as he's been made out. McAnuff wasn't as bad as he's been made out - at least in the first half (apart from their first goal, which was his fault).

QPR away is a write-off (apparently they were fantastic today). But if we don't put in a good performance at home v Leicester, I think its time for a change.

Ho hum.

Fed 7 - One fantastic save, and two good ones, but somewhat at fault for their 1st and 3rd goals.
Cummings 2 - Oh no. Enough has already been said about him.
Bertrand 6 - Big loss when he was injured.
Mills 7 - Big loss when he was injured. Top scorer this season?
Ivar 6 - Was lucky to not give away a pen when caught out of position first half.
Karacan 8 - MOTM.
Fatty 4 - Worst game from him, and I think he's not too bad, has a shot on him at least, but no sign of that today.
MacNotQuiteGoodAnuff 4 - When things aren't working showed an alarming tendency to sulk.
Cisse 6 - Solid if uninspiring.
Kebe 6 - Got into good positions and had the beating of his man. Not his fault if no pass is then on because we haven't got anyone into the box.
Hunt 5 - Tried his best on his own.

O'Dea 5 - Solid performance at left back for Bertrand. Can he play right back?
Long 6 - Made a difference, especially when Rasiak came on alongside him.
Rasiak 5 - Made a difference, especially when in tandem with Long.

Crowd 5 - Started well (like the team). Stirring rendition of "How sh1t must you be - it's only 2-1" late on. Standing available at the back for those that wanted to.
Rodgers 1 - lost me, and I'm very RTG usually.

Not going to QPR, so we'll win that one.

Well, that was yet more absolute crud from Reading with the usual familiar failings:

- yet another perplexing team selection.
- a lead lost for the fourth time this season.
- our only chance of scoring a goal coming from a set piece.
- opposition keeper fails to get his gloves dirty.
- poor mistakes cost us goals.

Make no mistake, this Reading team absolutely have it in them to be relegated this season. Astonishingly poor play for the first and second WBA goals; from our corner ball cleared, Karacan fails to win a key tackle in the middle of the park and for reasons best known to himself our goalkeeper is forty yeards out of his goal and the ball is walked into the net and then in a nothing second half the painfully slow Cisse is caught in possession and the ball ends up in the back of our net thanks to a simple through ball.

Special mentions to Cummings and Howard who were particularly dire today; Cummings was given an absolute chasing by their left winger, it was almost cruel on such a poor footballer. Federici fails to convince to be absolutely honest and Mills once again showed that you don't get much for your seven figure transfer fee these days. One positive is that the wingers gave WBA plenty of problems throughout, but in all honesty when you have mediocrity like NHunt, Long and Rasiak in your forward line you are never going to score too many goals.

Still, at least we're a well run club.

I think pretty much everything has been stated already. The team now look like rabbits caught in the headlights. As always we start brightly enough, score and lose momentum. I missed the howler of their first goal as my bladder was calling. Nothing happened for us in the second half. Pretty frustrating to watch really but at least the support tried to get some encouragement across a few times. How long will this now be allowed to come the norm before something is done.

Cracking hotdog at half time. The ciggie was excellent and it didn't rain.

Well, where to start?
Really good start, we were completely on top, but once again faded, sat back, McAnuff really should have put us two up.

Feds: Solid, made some really good saves, but for their third poorly positioned, far too far off his line. For their first he was horrendously sold short, though not his fault. 7
Cummings: Shit, worse than Rosenior, should never be allowed to play football ever again. Never got near Jerome Thomas. -1
Mills: Good, finally match fit, took his goal well, maybe he should stop scoring the first goal, seeing as we always seem to lose! 7
Ivar: Not too bad, but not quick enough sometimes, lucky not to get a card for the foul on Luke Moore in the first half. 6
Bertrand: Another good run-out, didn't do anything wrong in the time he was on, hope his concussion isn't that bad. 6
Kebe: Drifted in and out of the game, flashes of brilliance, then moments of pure madness, sometimes he can brilliantly control the ball, run past his man, but then will cut in, or will run the ball so far ahead of himself the defender picks it up! 5
Howard: Assist for the goal. Didn't anything else apart from fluff his lines in front of goal right at the end. Is he really better than Harper? 5
Karacan: Fantastic work rate, seemed to be one of the only few that put their all into their performance, going to get better and better. 7
Cisse: Don't think he put a foot wrong all game, a very good performance, put his foot in everywhere, rushed, harried, was everywhere. My MOM. 8
McAnuff: Should have scored to put us two up, then proceeded to sell Feds short for their first goal. Ran fairly well, created some problems for their right back, but not enough. 5
Hunt: Hopelessly under-serviced today, ran, jumped (much higher than Olsson at some points) and tried to get the ball, but needs someone to help him. 6

Subs:
Long: Tried hard, few bright moments, not really long enough on.
Rasaik: He's a tall bugger, got a few headers, seems to work well with Long, but he's no impact sub!
O'Dea: Solid, but he's no left-back.

Rodgers: I'm still happy to give him time, you've got to.
Fans: Half of the 9 out of 10, the other half can f*ck off and never ever come back, leaving before the end, in such great numbers is DISGRACEFULNESS, you should all be ashamed of yourselves.

Is that a joke???

If we have no hope of getting back into the match, and by leaving 5 minutes early I'll be able to get back about an hour earlier then I will sodding well do it.

I supported my team as much as I could today, but they were oxf*rd useless since the first WBA win, and I wasn't staying around to applaud them.

I'm sorry, we've performed at lot worse than that away from home in recent seasons, and I've never seen so many fans leave, even so late in the game. Its just disappointing.
