Focher Villa are probably the worst team we could play bar Chelsea.

Watching Delap's throw scares me, Stoke at the Brittania would've been dodgy!

Villa beat ManU later today 2-1 -- Then MartinO takes them all out on the for a 3 day bender!

Reading 3 - Villa 1

Long Carew
Howard
Kebe

Pompey at Wenbley in the Semi's -- they get wound up the day before the game

Final vs Chelsea - John Terry OG in the 90min -- We all laugh - Wanye Bridge goes to WC and JT stays at home with the Mrs

Focher with our lack of pace at the back, Villa are probably the worst team we could play bar Chelsea.

1-3, with agbonlahor utterly raping Ingimarsson all game.

The Royals will come down to earth with a bump. Reading 0 Aston Villa 5. This will be a prelude to a slump in form that will see Reading playing League One football next season. On the other hand I may be wrong I hope.

This is the toughest draw yet. Aston Villa >>>>>> Liverpool in January. The scousers have actually improved recently, but they really were in the pits when we played them.

I've voted for a win and I think we can do it. One thing I'm 100% sure of; we won't be making this easy for Villa. I'm not sure there is a Championship side more confident and in form than us at the moment.

How does that work then. I recall Liverpool winning something like 4 League games on the bounce pre and after the Cup games with us...including beating Villa. Their form was better then than now. :|

RFCUK 2-1 - Que Sera Sera

How about predictions for the other games?

Saturday, 6 March 2010
Fulham 1 - 3 Tottenham
Portsmouth 2 - 2 Birmingham / Birmingham 2 - 0 Portsmouth

Sunday, 7 March 2010
Chelsea 4 - 1 Stoke

My semi-finalists:

Reading
Tottenham
Birmingham
Chelsea

A draw against Birmingham would be amazing - and we'd win 3-1

i dont think we'll beat villa in a month of sundays but if by the hairs of our little bottoms that dream was ever to come true that would be the worst set of quarter finals in my eyes. id fancy our chances if pompey got through far more than any team we've had all cup run!

Draw at the Mad Stad, victory on penalties at Villa Park.

20,000 plastics turn up at Wembley for the semi.

We're on the march with Brian's army
We're all going to Wemberlee
And we'll really shake 'em up
When we win the FA Cup
Cos Reading are the greatest football team

That
Is
All

Is Villa's loss today going to affect next week's game? If so, how?

They may look at it as their only chance for silverware this season?

When we played them in the Premiership their pace up front caused our then defence all sorts of problems and I'm afraid it will be the same again.
Lets hope Brian has a cunning plan or we get Phil Dowd in as generous mood as he was to Vidic today.

A repeat of the fabulous game back in 1970 on a wet Saturday when we lost 5-3.
There are so many things to worry about, not least their speed on the break (don't forget Ivar will be playing)and their power in the air at set-pieces.
As mentioned on another thread we could get amongst them in central midfield if we go with the 3 unless of course O'Neill decides to play Siddy then we've had it.
We do of course have Kebe.
