Team Board effects

Inspired by Starfish thread which quoted an article in an Irish newspaper quoting Shane Long as saying he read this forum and was inspired by the posts of a certain poster called Snowballs

I hope they dont read it (but suspect they do), there's rarely an over abudance of positivity and its mostly full of people trying to knock one aspect or another. They'd need to be seriously thick-skinned not to be bothered by some comments, then again maybe they just look at this week's wage slip and laugh it off..

Possibly, but where else are they going to guage the opinion of the supporters who have an axe to grind. Some of the crap written though and the personal attacks are a little .

Also those players who state they never read the papers - riiight.

Also the osmosis affect of HNA sometimes getting into the match programmes, and possibly the E-Po.

I spoke to Jimmy Kebe outside House Of Fraser last week and he said he LOLed at the rape anthems photoshop and now whispers "here comes the rape" at opposition full-backs during matches.

Also, I have it on good authority that three members of the first team squad are still in the music quiz.

Unless Frimmers verifies this I refuse to believe it ;)

Well, what do you expect from the Team forum? I sometimes don't like it after Reading have lost a game. So much angst and a lot of pathetic posts repeating the same thing over and over again.

You expect us to guess which option to vote for? Why not ask the fecking players who actually know the answer Gus and leave us alone?

Is this mock-anger or are you genuinely put out a bit? If it is the latter, I'd suggest a holiday.

I'd say that if reading the ignorant rants of the illiterate hiding behind pseudonyms upsets morale of our players so much then they grow a backbone.

Hi, Stoke fan here

if any players wish to contribute to this thread go right ahead, no need to say who you are, just begin your post with some kind of code to let us know you are indeed on the playing staff, I suggest something like this

PLAYER: yeah, we do read the forum every now and then, the comments get me down sometimes bla bla bla etc

I think that if players read the boards they will realise how some of our "fans" are a bunch of bell-ends.
