Don't go Gylfi!

by Royal_Delight » 02 May 2010 15:46

I seriously hope that he doesn't go next season. Greatest player to come out from the Academy and has really excelled in the first team. In Goal.com's top 10 player of the season too. http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2872/top ... the-season

Well done Gylfi and I hope u stay.

You are already in the shop window with a big FOR SALE sign held by the Chairman.

No sign of him going anywhere.

Nothing from him to suggest he's looking for a move, nothing from the club that suggests they are looking to sell.

I look forward to one more season of him, then either wish him well as he heads for the Premiership or wish him well as he joins us there !!

Crissake! We are talking about a 20 year old who has just completed his first season playing at this level. I think it is utterly bonkers for any PL club to take a punt on him so soon. Many will wait and see what he does next season. If next season he improves then I would expect clubs to come calling - but not during this close season.

Not after 10 assists, 20 goals and Player of the season for Reading?!

Since when does being voted PoS by a bunch of mongs amount to anything?

Yeah, because players like Bale, Walcott, Bostock etc.. were never snapped up after only one season.

Probably came to watch Kebe.

Could be. He has been fantastic in 2010.

They are looking at anyone better looking than Ribery - a wide net.
