That was Dominic Jean-Zepherin that made the cock up in the Farnborough goal
Thought we played ok, good to see Hunt back who played well in his short appearance. Thought Antonio did well too having come on to replace Hunt. Locke made so good saves from some long range shots from Boro's Jack King, otherwise not a lot to add.
Oh and lolz at the guy near me who was complaining about Boro taking freekicks in the wrong place and the ball not being stationary when they were doing so. It was a friendly for god sake and both sides were doing it!

So from what's been said above it sounds like Cummings played left, back is that right? With Kelly on the right behind Henry?

Nice to see Hunt back involved but surprised he only got 30 mins. Even after so long out I'd say that's odd.

Noel hasn't seemed to have lost any of his energy or enthusiasm, just hope it was routine to take him after half-an-hour rather than him feeling something. If he can get back to the player we knew before his injury he'll be like a new player this season and should walk back into the side.

Well that's how it looked from the teamsheet but does that mean Henry play on the left? Or was the talk of Kelly and Henry looking threatening either a cock up or not a comment on them being a joint threat just decent performances individually?

Henry started on the right but he and Robson-Kanu switched flanks midway through the first half.

Agreed, bur only being ok for 30 mins at this level and intensity after a summer of preparation would suggest he's a bit further behind the rest of them than I'd hope.

He looked as if he could've played for longer but the fact we took 24 players leads me to think the plan was always to take him off after thirty minutes to just edge him in slowly and to not rush his return. There's still plenty of pre-season left and half-an-hour is still a good run out.

I just hope I'm right with the above rather than him feeling his knee again.

Good workout. Thought Kelly and Robson-Kanu were pretty good in the first half. We looked more of an attacking threat in the second half. Williams looked good has pace, Antonio did well when he came on and Locke made a couple of decent saves in goal.

Robson-Kanu "goal" definitley crossed the line in the first half!!
Since when did Simon Jordan join our coaching staff!?! :?

Yep I really hope Hunt comes through preseason unscathed. He is really important to us this year.

Several million times better than the Farnborough strip, which was purple with gold numbers and pink flashes.

Compo's Hat There is nothing 'first class' about watching BangLOLadesh.

Au contraire, thoroughly deserved win today for a passionate young side who you rather arrogantly dismiss. I witnessed two pitch invasions, two fights and a Bangladesh win at the death which I am sure will live longer in my memory than a single-goal Reading win over a team who play 4 divisions below RFC.
