Thomas L'Heureux
rotherwick_royal Howard seemed to be involved in everything

It really frustrates me how this bloke always seems to draw praise from our fans. He is quite awful in my opinion, and less than half of his passes find their intended recipient. For somebody who is supposedly a decent technical player he gives the ball away far too often, and despite playing the pass into Kebe today for the third, his through-balls are over-hit and rushed.

His miss at 2-0 was embarrassing, but still people praise him. He is, in my opinion, well below standard.

Agreed, thought howard was poor.

Well he was involved in a lot. fwiw he's by no means my favourite player and I don't think he's the person to fill 'the sig' role. To me his game is all about being the link man, bit like a more attacking Harper. Thought that part of his game was good today without any individual brilliance.

ayjaydee A bit grudging - "Long was decent", I thought that was possibly Long's best game in a Reading shirt. He actually did the lone striker role as it should be played and I can only recall one or two poor touches. Overall he was my MoM closely followed by Karacan

Agreed, although only for the second half, first half was dire.

That does help and quite frankly I would like to see a BAN put in place for anyone using it. There is no excuse for stupid people having to use that button because their IQ does not have the ability to absorb and understand such fantastic posts as those that they are looking to ignore.

I think Eugenics should really have come into play so we can remove those that have their lights half on from the population or encourage them to support one of the Welsh teams that should not be allowed to play in our English league.

If we have howard to look forward to in the Gylfi role then we dont have much to look forward to imo.

He may well get involved in the game more, but he will not win us games or draw something special like Gylfi did

4-4-2 should be played at home.

4-5-1 against Millwall.

It is 4231 but many can't accept that and can't see past calling it 451.

THere are 4 disticnct lines on players on the pitch:
4 defenders
2 defensive midfielders
3 attacking midfielders
1 striker.

But for some reason there are many who can't understand that.

Summarising moment of the lairy palace fans... a fat chavvy kid, probably about 18, trying to surround a car outside the BHS roundabout, followed by the driver telling him to fack off, and driving away nearly taking his foot off, leaving other lairy palace fans complaining to the old bill the twat child was nearly ran over. Morale of the story, dont start on vehicles.

Bit of a strange game really.

Cummings was sound and impressed with his pace. Harte was assurred and looks a good addition. Mills in my opinion was getting close to a second yellow card in the first half. Kebe excellent. Mcanuff quiet. Karacan was excellent and i am not a fan of his. Gunnarrsson looked jaded for me and in need of a rest. Long worked hard for the team and is getting better and better. Howard is the weak link for me, with poor passing, poor finishing and a yard off the pace.

Looking forward to Tuesday.

Agree with all of this, Paul.
