To summarise we still exactly the same songs as we did 30 years ago, unless it was about a player who has left, Elm Park, hooliganism or racism.

2 Pints and a packet of c One of my all time favs:-

Asaba, Asaba, Asaba!

I like that one. My only misgiving is that it could possibly do with a few different words to link it or make it understandable in any way.

Terry's gonna get ya, Terry's gonna get ya!

When one of our players was badly tackled that was sung. He was a big bloke was Terry Hurlock.

To the tune of "'ere we go"

On the pitch, on the pitch, on the pitch
On the pitch, on the pitch, on the pitch
On the pitch, on the pitch, on the pitch
On the pitch, ON THE PITCH!

Can't remember how the second verse went.

Reminds me of a few seasons ago when the Sheff. U firm approached Steve Kirby asking him "Where's your boys?"

Having pointed them in the general direction of the Wynford Arms they steamed on, and he cracked up. Nice one Kirbs.

EM1 You could have come in a taxi

You're going home in a Berkshire ambulance - sung by Berkshire's finest

Did we not sing that at the Chelsea game when Hunty slid in to Cech?

So, we're mainly working on the permis that we don't sing songs about players who are either retired or don't play for us anymore?

The pope is currently visiting the UK and I can exclusively confirm he is a catholic.

Were the left side, were the left side, were the left side of the bank...........

Were the right side, were the right side, were the right side of the bank.........

Used to sing that in the south bank and a big gap would appear and each side would be goading each other then someone would shout..........10,9,8,7......all the way down to 1 and we would steam into each other.......

I remember once we done that and when the gap appeared the police walked down the middle of it......while they were there someone shouted....10,9,8,7........all the way down to 1........i think we all chickened out !!!!!!

Those were the days......

"Oh Trevor, Trevor,
Trevor, Trevor, Trevor, Trevor Senior"

"Let's go Oxf*rd mental,
let's go Oxf*rd mental...."

"B, B, B-standers!"

"You're getting wet,
You're getting wet,
We're not,
We're not."

Here are a couple from the days when clubs did not employ jobsworth scabs as stewards and everything was left to The Plod.

"Who`s that geezer with the big blue hat
Do Dah, Do Dah
Who`s that geezer with the big blue hat
Do dah do dah day
On the beat all day
On his wife all night
Who`s that geezer in the big blue hat
Do dah do da day"

"Over the wall we go
All coppers are b@st@rds"

Being a fully paid up PC kind of bloke I shall refrain from mentioning the one about `Arry Roberts being everybody`s mate on the grounds that it is grossly offensive.
