Ian Royal Of the players I've seen, Kitson, without a shadow of a doubt.

I still think that but for the niggling injuries he would have been a Premier League striker before we made it and if he'd stayed properly fit he would have been an England striker.

Even now I'd have him back in a heartbeat. Despite the billy big bollox attitude he developed, despite the poor seasons since he left us.

Along with him I'd have a fit and lean Caskey, and Wdowczyk. Players who would always make my team.

'greed. It was arguably Kitson that started to turn us from a team of a quality not disimilar from now in 03/04 to a title winning team 2 years later.

With the way this team is setting up with this 4-5-1, then definitely Forster.

Nickey Shorey in the first PL season- so much drive, so much creativity.

Seeing as we need a more effective striker, how about Brayson?

With McAnuff and Kebe on the wings, it has to be Trevor.

Neil Webb.

If it has to be a player's peak with Reading (as opposed to after he left), I'll take Shorey, Sidwell or Doyle. Any would be fine, thanks.

I'd trade Harte for Caskey anytime.

Caskey just as good or even better with a deadball and also a lot more mobile and quicker!
