If Kebe comes in, and if Long plays, Hunt or Church as the second striker?

PS I've been suggesting a striker in the hole and Hunt on the right, for ages

Yes, but as soon as Church went back to play in the hole on Wednesday we started falling to pieces. So no thanks to a striker in the hole.

Are you saying we played 442 to start?

Thought we looked much more balanced with a striker in the hole. The goal being the perfect example. Church makes run into wide area, crosses to Long in the box (where he should be) who makes a nuisance and Hunt ghosts in. In previous weeks its been Long making the run into wide ares leaving Tabb/McAnuff etc to make th box run. Think they have 3 goals between them in a Reading shirt.

Kitson12, at no point did we play 2 up on weds.

Hugo Boss Keep it exactly as it was - Other than not putting our chances away, we did everything right IMO.

If we take the game to Norwich like we did Cardiff last night, we'll win.

Agreed

Tony Le Mesmer Kitson12, at no point did we play 2 up on weds.

I disagree, there were periods in the game where we played 2 up, with Church and Long up, especially in the first half, and Hunt on the wing.
As soon as we lost the second striker our game fell to pieces, we had a few half chances, but nothing more, we certainly looked more vulnerable the less and less we attacked, and noone can say that isn't true.

Sorry, don't know what game you were at but we played 4-2-3-1 from the start with Church behind Long.

I would not be surprised if BMcD changed back to 1 up front. As posted above, Naaaarwich will probably anticipate a similar line up to the Cardiff game. I might even go to this one.

Changed back to one up front? As opposed to the one up front we had on Wednesday? :|

What I mean is that I don't expect Long, Church and Hunt to start.

You can say what you like, this is an open forum and most of us on here don't have the need to try to PROVE something all the time because there is nothing to prove..

It's not a case of wanting to PROVE anything

It's a reaction to so many lame statements on the flimsiest of evidence

Cummings will never be a player

Kebe will never be a player

Earlier this season I read that Karacan would never make it in the Championship

Long will be gone in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012...

Quite right- Long should have been long, long gone-Brian's adopted son and will stay with us whilst Brian remains the manager.
Cummings-jury is still very much out.
Kebe was bought as a Premiership player and is probably still short of that level despite his great improvement.
Jem is a Championship player and will go no higher because his passing is way short of any higher level but whereas his passing is of Div2 standing some of his other attributes are of Premier class.
