LoyalRoyalFan McDermott might have to start answering a few questions.

Or the chairman for not making enough money available both in wage and transfer budgets. I don't doubt for one minute the manager didn't want a striker in!

Spud Gun We don't need a new striker, we just need to stop playing Long week in week out

Have you not noticed how many chances our strikers have failed to put away, and some pretty standard chances too?

I think Hunt is the man to take us through to Jan. No I am not just saying that because he has scored 3 and 3. As soon as he was match fit i was banging on about getting him in the mix and surprise surprise he scores goals!

We 're scoring enough goals at the moment.

Lets wait until Jan and see where we are. If Noel stays fit he may be the answer.

He's our best finisher IMO

If Noel Hunt score consistently throughout the next couple of months, the mad man will have him on his exit list, wont he ??

No, you need to see there is an incredibly large gulf between what they promise and what they deliver and that gulf matches the size in the difference beteen investing sensibly and taking risks. There is a mid way but the apologists for Madejski refuse to recognise that.

Equally, few supporters demand instant results. What they want to see is signs of moving forward and there are very few of those as each year the club's brilliant business managers stumble across another black hole that has to be plugged by the sale of the talent the manager was hoping to build on.

As for no one at the club considering us massive - what short memories you and Howe have. Have you really forgotten all the bull we were fed about the next Arsenal!

actually- the only promises JM made to me were delivered, in full, and then some
LOL at you taking risks with JMs money. risk your own why dont you
im not apologising for him- he doesnt need apologising for- apart from in the deranged minds of mongs
your moronic use of the 'black hole every year' just shows how much of a mong you are. it doesnt come from nowhere each year purely as an excuse for him not to spend. we bring in less than we spent. as long as that happens(and weve gone a huge way in reducing wages to make sure it doesnt any more), and as long as companys have annual accounts there will always be a gap, every year. no need to get all conspiracy theory about it.
LOL at you for thinking that "club modelling themselves on arsenal, and having the aim of wanting to be as big as arsenal"="club thinking they are as big as arsenal"

I think the only loan move that we've missed out on is Bednar. You'd imagine geography and money was the reason for that. Imagine the reaction on here if we'd signed Tudgay, Easter, McQuoid or Fallon!! People would complain about them not being better than what we've got and there is no ambition blah blah blah blah. I'd rather have Mcd's more cautious approach than Keanes approach of loaning anything that moves at Ipswich.

we are currently 11th in the table but 8th in the goals scored table. But the perception here seems to be that we are in the bottom 3!

Strikers will score given chances.

For a team with 2 wingers Reading provide little food for strikers to feed on.

Difficult to see alternative formation though as midfield lacks creativity.
