Overly triumphalist. You've had your head turned by that daughter of yours.
It won't be long before you spend your time posting on Carrot Crunchers Anyone? or whatever it is that Narch fans post on. I'm thoroughly ashamed of you Norrers.

Still, if we win tomorrow, QPR do the business on sat, we are still in with a shout. Anything other than a Reading win will not do!

West_Reading BTW, does anyone know why the tannoy man said before the Leicester game that 'the good news is that OUR future is in OUR hands', when it clearly isn't. Unless he was never believing we were in the auto promotion race.

Promotion is in our hands, because we can go up via the play-offs and don't have to rely on anyone else. Automatic promotion is of course not in our hands.

I think he was trying to contrast our position with that of Leicester who could only reach the play-offs with help from others. It was a slightly odd statement, though, which is why I bothered to remember it and wonder about what he was getting at.

I think tonight was the biggest test Norwich faced in thier run in, they came through it easily, hard to see anyone stopping them get an auto place now..looks like the lottery for us, 5th time lucky maybe,

Footballs a funny old game I think that home record could go out of the window on the pressure of the final day. What a job Paul Lambert's done there, I had really hoped ipswich could do us a favour. Contrast with Cardiff and QPR. And I love the way ipswich are paying half bullard's reportedly 40k a week wages for this side of mid table mediocrity...

Expected more from Ipswich certainly given the fact it was the big derby game ...but then again it is Paul Jewell as manager ...so cant be overly surprised

Would that be the 50k that Bullard was reported as being on when Hull signed him?

Of course, but how many times in history have clubs won the hard game
then dropped a goolie against an easy side?

It could be us winning at Leeds then failing to beat Sheffield.

For example. Please don't let it happen

Ipswich were poor last night. It seems that at this level you can spend a lot of money and remain utterly mediocre. Leicester have done it too, Forest have blown it, QPR for years before Warnock. Please Cardiff mess it up again.

Just because Ipswich have disgraceully sullied the memories of Bobby Robson, Alf ramsey and half the team that played the Germans in WWII it doesn't mean we shouldn't just concentrate on the job at hand and notch 4 more big Ws (+3 if we have to) in the remainder of the season

Unfortunately the great run of form we have been on and hope for 2nd place has resulted in a feeling that if we do not make it and 'only' make the play offs then it will be a disappointment. I hope the players don't feel that way and enter the play off games (assuming we don't make 2nd) in that frame of mind because in reality 10 games ago most of us had written off the play offs as a distant dream.
Making the play offs would still be a great achievement this season! Having said that, i'm not sure I can endure another play off rollercoaster :| so 2nd place it must be!

Its not all over but we do have to win tonight.

Think Norwich made second place a couple of weeks ago and bottled it a bit so pressure may get to them.

Portsmouth away not easy either.

Those of a betting nature might care to know that we are 6/1 with Bet365 to come second to QPR.
If (big IF I know) we were fortunate enough to beat Leeds and QPR won at Cardiff our odds would then be about 2/1.
