2 world wars, 1 world cup I'm not scared.

We now know Prem footy isn't the fairytale we thought it was.

Don't make it - no big deal. We'll get into the playoffs again.

we wont get in play offs again.

Oh, ok.

The excitement levels are getting cranked up a gear now by just watching the build up on SSN to the game tonight!

moo I'm alright, surprisingly.

We've been treated to so many big games over the last 5 seasons or so that it takes a nice little edge off. I'm sure it will change as I get down the pubs and on crowded trains, before walking into Wembley stadium.

The goal of the Premiership maybe doesn't seem as exciting as it once did.

Will still be heartbroken if we don't win though. Rollercoaster incoming.

This is exactly how I feel, word for word.

West Stand Man I will be gutted if we lose and my grump will last until we start again in August. Then I will man up and get on with looking forward to another exciting season.

If we don't lose I will be on a high for about a day or so and then start worrying again about next season.

grow up if we lose you be Gutted, man up you wimpy it only a game of football and you be Grump untill august get a life...... and we wont have a exciting season next season we be in championship middle table bottom half

Tomorrow will be mixed because I found the Premiership to be very repulsive when we got there in 2006. It was nice to be regarded as a team in England's elite league, but the whole arrogance of the league was incredibly frustrating. It was as if the media already decide at the start of the season who are worth watching, and spend the rest of the time slagging the others off.

When we beat Liverpol at the Madejski, it wasn't reported that Reading played well, it was Liverpool played badly. I often felt we never got the credit our performances deserved.

The thing is, a win tomorrow at Wembley would mean that Reading will have probably achieved everything a club of our size is capable of. An FA Cup win isn't likely unless we really establish ourselves in the Premiership, likewise with an League Cup win.

However, it will be fantastic to win tomorrow, and tonight, I like many no doubt, will struggle to sleep. This is a second Christmas for us, so let's enjoy it, and hope the present we get at the end doesn't leave us as dissapointed as those pair of socks nan buys us every year!

Definately feeling the nerves now but, as others have more eloquently said, the previous two final defeats were catastrophic, for differing reasons, and I don't feel it would be catastrophic to lose this.

Obviously, i'd still be "gutted" and am desperate for us to win but am determined to enjoy the occassion more this time round rather than dwell entirely on the result.

More worried about losing players if we dont go up.
I know you cant be 100% on these things but i have heard that Shane will be off to Everton.
Just gonna enjoy the occasion tomorrow, brilliant if we go up ( apart from less games ), but i still think the Championship is a great league and wont be too sad if we dont win.

I've been on and off the loo for about 5 hours this morning - although that may be more down to the 'super doner special' at Best Kebabs in Willesden.

I've been edgy all day, always worry about playing fancy teams. Still remember Arsenal in the prem, that style was the one we never came close to overcoming.
Think the key here is Macca, I think he's far more tactical than S.C., so I think it's all up to him. The players will be up for it, as long as we play the right game.

Really looking forward to it.Not shitting it.Took me years to get over my last Reading trip to Old Wembley in 95
This time we have been to the Promised Land ie the Premier already with all its problems.Id love it if we won.....however think we have a club that is better suited to the Championship, in terms of spending power and ambition with the added bonus that we will win quite a few more games in the Championship
