Your feeling like Cinderella is now getting through to me as well reading all the posts about people on their way.
My mate Rog with his nephew,my brother Pete with his mate David plus the son-in-law and grandson,my mate John and his grandson Ryan making their way up from Rochester and my son Ian with his mate Gary drinking their way to Wembley.
Me-I'll watch the first-half at home on TV,then it's a taxi (booked for 3-50) armed with radio and i-phone for the short journey (during half-time) to Bournemouth Airport and then trying to get the bar staff to make sure the TV is on the right Sky Channel.
Fortunately deep-down for one of the rare times in my life I'm not too concerned which way the result goes because if we go up it will be a season of real struggle and this is not a team on a par with the 106 side which was a Premier League side in waiting.
Also after all these years I have finally sussed that whatever I do has no bearing on the result and even long held superstitions make no difference although it has taken a very long time to realise that.
If we lose I will feel for the fans there and everywhere but I really don't think this is the one-off opportunity that the Bolton game was because we have shown that with a squad that is unexceptional we can still challenge whereas back in 95 it felt as though the chance might never arise again.
By writing this I had hoped that I had got the thought of losing out of my system but no,it hasn't worked so I'm going to put the socks on in the right order, get the apple ready for half-time plus all the other stupid superstitions as they just might make the difference!!!!.
