Franchise FC
philM
Svlad Cjelli Easter Monday @ Brighton

They're away to QPR, I'd rather have a trip to the seaside :D

Has there been some deal that means QPR have moved to Manchester - Swansea are away to Citeh

He means Swansea go to QPR on Easter Monday, do keep up....

Must admit I don't like the run in, but the start isn't too bad. If we could only get off to a flyer.....

A bad one though and we could be struggling badly for the season.

As usual we get Doncaster at home first,

But Birmingham on the last day again - wouldn't be wonderful to do to them what they did to us 3 years ago? Last thing I want is to be part of their promotion party.

PLeased with irrelevances when I'm on holiday and nothing special festival weekend. Apart from that, it really doesn't matter what order we play the games in, you all know that yeah?

Except this (last) season we were massively helped by having a relatively easy run-in.....

Random thoughts:
- Don't mind starting the season home or away, but would prefer to finish at home
+ Boxing Day and NYE at home - get in! Nice welcome back for Ivar...
+ Posh away midweek, nice easy reach from where I stay in Cambridge. Might even have to offer IR a lift...
+ Family awayday to Brighton methinks
- 7 games in March & 6 in April with a pretty tough run-in - going to have to do it the hard way this season...

Just one query - why no games in May? Do they usually finish that early?

Some more random thoughts:

Disappointed Hull away is so early on.
Even more disappointed that Derby away is midweek, and especially Valentines Day.
October is a month where we should dominate
So is February
Away trips to Brighton and Southampton in a week will be a laugh

What a pile of shit.

2 best away games for me (Brizzle and Peterboro) both on a Tuesday.

You wouldnt think it was possible to get Brum on the last day that many times. Brings back memories of Gilkesy scoring the least popular Reading goal of all time.

Which we only needed because we didn't take enough points off the harder games earlier in the season....

Seriously, fixture release day is the most pointless milestone in close season.

We could really have done with having August and April swapped. There is an outside chance that we may have the odd decent player still in August.

Perhaps the most un inspiring fixture list in my years of supporting Reading

Strangely, we have exactly the same number of home league games as away
and 100% are against championship teams.
