leww_rfc I'd put arrows for a Sweeper HTH.

It's just I thought keepers were never included as a 'back four' or back five.

Think this is the best we ve got at the moment.

I think Cummings deserves a chance to have a prolonged spell in the team. The issue is that Griffin doesn't really deserve to be dropped. Perhaps a slight muscle strain would solve the issue; I genuinely believe that when Cummings gets his chance, he'll do enough to keep Griffin out.

Handily Griff is injured at the moment, or was that your point?

I think this'll be like the Williams - Sonko situation when Sonks originally joined us, which was as you describe iirc.

There's no question who should be between the sticks...McCarthy.

Back 4 of Griffin, Harte, Pearce and Khumalo.

That's a fairly strong back 5 in my opinion. Harte and Griffin are getting slower but Griff is still great at reading the game (apart from that penalty!) and Harte will be useful for set plays

Handsome Man McCarthy
Griffin Pearce Morrison Harte

Federici isn't number one anymore: the last few months of the season showed us that many times.

What about the last 4 games plus the play offs?!

McCarthy
Griffin Khumalo Pearce (c) Harte

On the basis Khumalo has some pace, else Cummings for Griffin.

He'll make his customary 2-3 errors in the first 8 games and then be dropped.
