Agreed. The loss of Ingi, Zurab & Mills, along with the deterioration of Harte, Gunnar and Griffin, leave us very exposed at the back.

Hopefully cummings will continue his good form, and Marcus Williams can improve, so we have some options with regards to pace.

Nevertheless, we do need a decent CB.......

Well we've already bought Morrison and Williams for both those positions and they haven't even got on the bench have they? Certainly haven't had any playing time in the league so far. What was the point of buying them?

I agree. I, and I believe the team, looked at them as long term projects. We need impact type of players, the kind that are ready to be slotted right into the starting eleven, and not more players to build on for the future. So in a sense I agree with you...why buy them? It isn't like we have a stable squad where we can be patient and wait for players to develop, we might as well stick with the academy to provide those players for us. Our "well run" team model, which requires us to sell off one or two of our best players every year to feed the omnipresent "black hole", is springing a hole in the development talent pool right now. We are running short of players to replace the ones which were sold. When was the last time we paid decent money to bring in an established young player? Was it Mills at the time?

Exactly, by the time they start to become consistent and perform for us, we sell them.
