oldebiscuit The most pissed i've ever been at a game was so good i can't remember where it was, who it was against, or much about it to be fair. i just know it was in the days when you were allowed to carry your own crate of beer in to the ground and no one batted an eyelid.

But i must say, if you can remember being pissed at football, then you probably weren't really that pissed!

I miss you like the deserts miss the rain.

Maguire Got to be an away game - possibly Sheff Wed in 2006. I watched the highlights the next day and was convinced I must have not been there coz I couldn't remember a single thing about it.

Was this the one we trained it with you and H&P amongst others. You kept shoving your head out the train window and shouting "is this Derby" all the way home.

Mike Atherton and Mark Nicholas on the train at St Pancras

Ian Herring has reminded me of Fulham. I think we went there in November two years running in the Prem though, TBH, they've blurred into one for me. After one of the games we went back to the pub near Putney Bridge tube and I think there was an incident with a local Prossie? Though my recollection is hazy :?

Similar thoughts on the Fulham away days both blending into 1. Think the prossie incident was 1st Prem season though, she took an old boy into the the toilet for a nosh and nicked his wallet so one of my lot threw a tenner at her and told her to "f off and sort your f ing teeth out too"

Bournemouth away when it was called off while we were all in the Weatherspoons. About 6 or 7 years ago. Started drinking at 8am and was in the pub by 10am. Game got called off at about midday.

I woke up in Twickenham surrounded by Rugby fans. No idea how I got there. Neither does my mate who obviousl just got off the train at Bracknell and left me on it oxf*rd!!

Called off due to heavy rain? Think it was more than 6/7 years ago - that's the one where Spacey turned up and parked and didn't realise it was off!

This is mine as well. Met about 50,000 nobbers that day and remember pretty much none of them.

We started drinking at about 8.00am if I remember correctly - I'd had a few, but was 100 times more in control than H&P who was actually smoking on the train and Mags who was lucky not to be decapitated! We had to stand all the way home as there were no seats.

If I'd known how appallingly shit that game was going to be, I'd have set out to get even more leathered.

Simod Cup Final 1988. Six cans of Tenants super did trick as I watched the first half with with one eye shut and a headache of biblical proportions. I then commenced to throw up over my own lap on the coach journey back toTadley that took several more hours than it should have done. Still, what a great day out!!!

Blackpool away 4-0 win spring 94.

I think a couple of our big promotion rivals had played at lunchtime and messed up and there was some pub doing cheap beer by the funfair.

That reminds me - I was exceptionally drunk that day too. Stood on the Wembley terraces at the top - saw some mates at the bottom and vaulted over the stantions between the sections to get down there. Was so pissed I remember little of the game but managed to take a full roll of film.

Took it to boots a couple of days later - they managed to over expose it and oxf*rd well ruined whatever I took that day.

Oh, also I took a girl who had Pippa Middleton style short skirt on. She wasn't too amused as she followed me down the Wembley terraces.

I have no idea how I got home.

Drank 13 pints at the age of 18, puked in the urinals at The Rocket then fell over on the way to Highfield Road.

Felt truly minging the next day.

Not me. Only rarely drink and when I do it's not football-related. Very occasionally (like once every 3 seasons) I'll have a half but even then only after a match and only if we've won. Boring old fart that I am. :|

Bristol City away 2008. First train out of Leeds at 6:15 and a heavy session on the train meant I woke up just outside of Weston Super Mare shortly before 10:30 having slept through both Bristol stops :| £35 taxi back to Bristol to pick up where I left off which was as always a pretty decent session in our regular Bristol boozer. Eventually made it into the ground and the game is a bit of a blur. To top it off I missed my booked train on the way back so had to buy another ticket which cost best part of £95. All in all a good day 8)

Probably the 2006/2007 season. Just all of it. I was wasted. Watched most of that year from the concourse with a flat grim beer in my hand. Theres not a game that went past that I was absolutely scundered. It used to drive my father mad.

The most effected I've been at a game was probably taking two ecstasy tablets just before kick off against some shite team back in 2004 or so. It had been a heavy night and me and my friend ghosted it through. He fell asleep and I was left on my own, with only my own horrible thoughts to contemplate. So I decided to sit and talk the arm off the poor chap next to me. And sweat a lot. I sweated an awful lot. It was an absolutely shit idea. Not even in hindsight. Just a shit idea from the outset.

Watford away in April 2010, the one where we got absolutely owned. Drank a huge amount at a mate's house and pretty much forgot to leave the house, then couldn't find the stadium while staggering around, arrived to see Watford knock in their first of three. Wore a David Cameron mask that day. Just felt like it had to be done on inflatables day.

Ipswich away 2003. Had quite a few drinks on the train and then went into the pub opposite the station and had a few more.
Every-time I stood up I nearly fell into the row in front. After the cheating little cnut Magilton 'fell over' in the box and the pen was converted I stormed out of the ground, three Ipswich fans started started taking the piss and I told them to f*ck off. They then ran towards me where I proceeded to punch the one in the middle to the floor, where upon the suffolk constabulary decided they would grab me. I managed to convince them that it was three against one and it was self defence and they let me go.
When we got to the station the guard blew his whistle and the train was about to leave and as the train was an old slam door type I persuaded my mate to push me in through the pull down window and I then fell on top of some kid at which point my mate boarded the train through the door.

Great days
