rfc2001 He's not even that good, we only like him because of his pace!! I'd rather have someone who is slightly slower but actually do something. Maybe that person is obita next season!!

Dont agree with that!!! On his day he is immense and rips defences a new one.Its just that jimmy kebe dont turn up as often as we would like

How interesting that in Ideal's world, everything is black and white, and black is always awful. Who'd have predicted that!

Ideal So you're saying you think he did particularly well when he came on?

Hard to say with the terrible feed I had, but he looked to cause a few problems in a game that had broken down already. For a late subsitute you seem to have massively and characteristically over-reacted.

PS Ideal, you need to learn saying he was not awful =/= saying he was good.

He hardly got the ball tbf and Brian should've brought him on the first time.

Yeah the bit after the goal where our paciest player still should have come on, as was planned before the goal, to stretch a team who had to attack to get something from the game. That bit. He didn't come on for Leigertwood btw

At the very least he should've been on straight after the red card.

I normally like Kebe but he was disgracefully lazy today. Set off on a run, soon after he came on, with Cummings overlapping. Kebe decided to cut inside into a blind alley and tamely lost the ball. Then just stood and watched as Cummings, who was further forward, had to chase back desperately when Kebe was far better placed to intercept and hold up the Southampton counter.

I can't see him signing a new contract unless we get promotion.

If he hasn't signed a new contract by December we should sell him for whatever we can get in January.

Agree, no point keeping a player destined for the door 6 months down line, especially with such a lazy performance like todays

IMO it's clear he doesn't want to be at the club. Its not rocket science. If you want to stay and the money is there (which it is) then sign it!!??

Jimmy is a good championship player, on a really good day maybe a lower team in the Prem. He is a million miles from consistent hence why it seems no one has ever come in for him.

disagree with 1st point- he may want to leave when his contract runs out, but cant see any difference in him now than just afetr he signed his last one tbf, hes always inconsistnent, and mostly so when he comes back froma lay off.

agree with teh last point

Yeah, look what happened with Sidwell. Utter disaster keeping him to the end of the season.

but sidwell always was committed, even in his poor games.
not sure why anyone is looking for that from kebe tbf, its not really his game.

hes frustrating, inconsistent, sometimes tracks back and works hard, sometimes doesnt bother.
but he can make a mug of any player in this league, and turn a game onb its head in an instant.

if anyone came in for him in jan id sell, but no one will, exactly for th ereasons no one has come in for him so far, so wed be better having him there to turn games when needed

Sorry, I Meant its clear he doesn't wanna be here with the hesitation of a contract, not that he's inconsistent in general. Agree with all you've said tho.....
