The Coventry thread has got me thinking about player of the season. And our players of the season thus far.

Who do you think will get it? Why?

Who do we reckon is our POTS so far.

For me the top 3 if voted for right now would be, with 1st winning obviously

1st - Karacan
2nd - Gorkss
3rd - Pearce

Little to choose between Fed, Pearce, Gorkks and Karacan to be fair. All have performed consistently all season.

My final vote will not be decided until the end of the season but at the moment Karacan just edges it.

Echo the rest on here - Karacan, Federici, Pearce and Gorkks the obvious 4. If pushed I'd probably go for Federici as I think he's had more match-winning performances than the others, but at this stage I wouldn't be disappointed if any of those was Player of the Season.

For me Karacan is an odd choice given his lack of goals, assists and our teams refusal to play in centre midfield. Appreciate his effort, but for me its the back 3 of Feds, Gorkss and Pearce who are our crucial performers.

Having seen Pearce raging after the Watford defeat, I am totally impressed by his reaction. I expected class from Gorkss, but Pearce has become the captain Coppell and Rodgers knew he would be. Home grown, scores goals, defending a far cry from his early slow days, he gets my vote SO FAR!
