Yeah coz he's been an awful set piece taker for the last 15 years.

Claridge is an idiot. When is going to go wrong for them.

Urmm start of the season when we had our team ripped to pieces. Brilliant building by McD. We are a now a solid team that can get auto.

The media keep saying we are the form team and that really annoys me. Apart from the first 6 games when our team was destroyed we are top of the table. That isn't form that is just a solid team that's better than most in this league.

Claridge seems to be getting slated because people don't like him, not because he's said anything stupid or wrong. IMO his summary was spot on pretty much.

How can you get pissy with the bit about Ian Harte finding his range now, when he scored half a dozen freekicks last season and this was his first goal this season? If he gets more opportunities to take dangerous ones, I think he'll get a few more now. He tends to score them in little bursts as his eye is in.

He's right about us having no real weaknesses to be attacked at right now. He's right about it being a hardworking and organised team. We don't really have any real superstars in that no one is really destroying teams consistently for us. Kebe, McAnuff & Roberts maybe have the potential but haven't been quite on that level this season.

He talks shit much of teh time, but take your blinkers off when he does actually say something sensible.

Watched highlights having been at game. Showed us better than I remember. Before we scored they were far better than us. We were also slow at the beginning of second half. Didn't show the penalty shout at the end either.

I think the second half slowness was because we went out to keep it tight knowing M'bro woud come out of the blocks hard to try and get back into the game. We then started to open up a bit once they'd blown out of early steam.

Claridge -

"no other season has done that this season"

"reading have no star players"

"ian harte has now found his range from free kicks"

he doesn't know his arse from his elbow. that's what makes him unlikeable.

Oh wow, he used a wrong word, big fukking woop. As for the other two, if you'd actually read the whole of my post you'd see I'd dealt with them. He's a div and he usually doesn't know what he's talking about, but there was little wrong with that summary.

it's not exactly the first time though is it? it's every week with claridge. he has very little to elaborate about with almost every club. rosenior isn't fantastic either but is a lot better, and offers a much more in depth opinion. he is also very aware of what is going on in the football league at the moment, unlike his counterpart.

Yes. It really annoys me when the media don't refer to this one, but keep banging on about the table compiled for the whole season.

Apparently, in an effort to ensure that the 'big' clubs only are successful, this is the very plan that Richard Scudamore is planning next for the Premier League.
They're going to take the best 'form' period for each team to decide the league table.

Why whenever we're at home, do the FL show insist on showing kids walking into the ground before the game. Every single time..

Perhaps because there are plenty of kids going past the camera. Oh, and it fits our image as a family club.

Just maybe.

That's a vital piece of footage along with seeing the players shake hands. It's hard to stretch out highlights of 20-30 games to fit 75mins so they have to fill it with something...

Agree with IR, stop picking holes just because you don't like the bloke. He said nothing wrong and was actually very complimentary to us.
