It just confirms that if we continue to play well, it all comes down to Wham and Saints.

I've been quite conservative here and also looked at current form , took me about 45 mins to complete

When the bookies were predicting RFC to get 71/72 points I said fill yer boots

They now predict 81 points, and that's probably too low. (But not such a good bet)

West Ham 93
Saints 89
Blackpool 83
Royals 82
Cardiff 81
Brum 76
The key appears to be the 3 out of 4 games away starting with West Ham-squeaky bum time!

Pretty unlikely I would have thought. That would mean 27/28 points from 12 games. Given our fixtures include 7 against teams in the top 10 you are suggesting we would win 9 out of 12

Not a cat in hell's chance will 6 teams get 80 or more. Doubt that's ever even happened.

You are right. Since the division was reorganised to 24 teams in 1 instance (1997/98) the 5th team got over 80. The highest 6th place has ever got is 76

And a few weeks ago I was ridiculed for daring to think we might get 85-86...

86 Pts - GD 27 Reading
85 Pts - GD 25 West Ham
=======================

Friday's Legacy
That's not optimistic, that's bloody ridiculous. you seem to think current form can continue all season but it wont,
it's current form only. we will draw a few, lose more than 3, and hopefully hustle our way into the top 6 for a play-off spot;
and that will be a good achievement for this season when we expected far less.

RFC on 66 points with 11 games to play... needing 1.818 ppg or 6 wins, 2 draws, 3 defeats

Still "bloody ridiculous"?

Least us NOT forget 2008/9 when with 11 eleven games to go, we were 3rd (and with an easier run in than this year) and only managed

W3
D5
L3.

If we repeat that record we will amass only 80 points = Play Offs.
