Chaney No sign of Anton yesterday, bit strange with the deal being so near..allegedly!!!

I replied to you in the other thread. We could clearly see Samuelson chatting with SJM at the end. They were all smiles.

So all would appear to be well (unless Samuelson is a 2 faced cnut).

If he is, i don't want his money anywhere near the club. (that is if there is money!) LOL

Hope deal is signed and sealed before the week is out!

I reckon it will be announced at 2.30pm on Saturday; picture the scene....SJM comes onto the Upton Park turf, strides to the away fans, and with microphone in hand announces that we are now richer than West Ham!

I would rather it wasn't announced until the end of the season - keep everyone on their toes, rather than thinking they are all safe and we "have money"

They're almost £100million in debt, of course we are richer

We're owned by a consortium. Other investors might want to see what they are throwing their millions into. Also, he probably has more investment projects on the go which require his attention.

As mentioned, Samuelson and another TSI representative were in attendance on Saturday. Samuelson in particular was all smiles. We will always see a lot more of Samuelson than Zingarevich. As you say, he has other business interests and is only the face of TSI. Whether we see who else is investing remains to be seen.

John Madejski recently had a very long overdue conversation with Bill Kenwright about the people behind TSI. Apparently he was advised to do this before the deal had got this far, but didn't as he thought he knew best. Upon finally speaking with Bill Kenwright, he was shocked to learn a few home truths about the business dealings of the Russian contingent.

Since this conversation took place, Madejski has asked his advisors to look at a way of getting out of the whole thing, but has been told that the only way he can is if Reading go up to the Premiership as he can't afford it otherwise, such is the poor state of his business finances.

For those silly enough to take any of that in, it's absolute nonsense.

Not joking or on a wind up. I hope it's bullshit myself. I found it hard to believe and questioned why Madejski wouldn't have fully checked these people out but was told that he was desperate to sell and let this cloud his judgement.

Call it crap if you like, but just repeating what I was told.

If you read his quotes about being a fan of everton, I think there's no doubt about that statement. Nothings wrong with it though, good pr.
