Warnock cleverly playing down Leeds' chances. It's not in his nature to give up so easily when it's still mathematically possible for Leeds to reach the play-offs - though unlikely.

Being top of the league overnight and piling pressure on Southampton and Wet Sham is just too good to be true. Really can seeing us droppoing points here, especially after 'The Lord Mayor's Show'. Mind you, we're due to beat 'A Warnock Team' after last year's debacles.

Warnock's playing the long game in trying to lever open Bates' wallet for next season. He will be quite happy if they get beat (short of shipping seven).

Leeds went on a day trip yesterday to sort out their stuttering Championship form (”Flamingo Land’ in case you were wondering) and, while the trip’s footballing merits are tenuous at best, it has still managed to provide us with two of the greatest images in the history of still photography – Luciano Becchio having his ear tongued by a sea lion and Neil Warnock riding like the wind on a super fast brum brum…

You could get Focher or General B to paint it.

You could probably just do it on Paint, then print it on loads of A4 sheets for people to hold together. Think that would work well...

Interesting. I once had a conversation with Ian Harte and when asked what his over riding memory in football is to he said the two lads getting killed in turkey was.

Any tributes should be warmly greeted by all royals if this is what Leeds want to do, seeing as a member of our own team was so effected by this also.

Is this due to an anniversary of the deaths does anyone know?

turning your backs as a sign of remembrance? slippery slope continues.. first can't have minutes silence.. now minutes clapping is under threat.. what will the pc gone mad brigade think of next?

Isn't turning your back a sign of turning your back on the club?

The sentiment is fine, no problem with that but rememberance is not turning your back it is silence or clapping.

What a strange idea.

Reading fans in 'mourning bandwagon' shocker. Perhaps we could chant Fabrice Muamba's name as we do this?

Leeds can do what they want. We'll concentrate on winning the football match. Cheers.

Hopefully then, Leeds score in the first 2 minutes, they all miss it, and we go on to win 9-1.
